Fantastic loafer! I ordered the black leather. They are soft and supple and are not stiff anywhere, not even at the heal. I took the advice of the other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. They fit perfect. I am now going to order other colors. They are that good!

I love these shoes! I have bunions on both feet and struggle to find shoes that work for me. I ordered these in a 9W, and they fit perfectly and there is no pain. Plus, there are very cute! Highly recommended!!

Great shoe. I am a 7 1/2-8. I ordered the 7 1/2. It is snug but not too small. I am not able to slide into these...at least not yet. It takes me a few seconds to pull the shoe over my heel. Worry the 8 might be too too big so keeping the 7 1/2. Also the leather is really soft and will mold to your feet. Another great perk to the soft leather is the the heel. There is not a ton of structure there other than the soft leather but that is great. It molds as well to your heel. Can't imagine getting blisters because of the formed fit. Sole was comfortable with a bit of cushion and arch support. Will buy other colors. Happy with this shoe.

This shoe is true to size. I ordered two sizes and also the wide option, because I have a high arch. the wide is very wide, through the entire shoe. I ended up keeping the medium width. I wanted a black loafer I could wear and not worry about being caught in a light rain, or going across a damp parking lot etc. I tend to wear my black shoes a lot. For the price point, I do feel they are a 5 star style. I do have the Gucci, in red and love them, but they are not something I wear as often as basic black. Let me say, these are not an exact dupe, nor did I expect them to be.

I bought these on a whim - I just thought the velvet texture was really cool and sprang for them. Loved them right out of the box. I flex between an 8.5W and a 9W and bought the 9W. Glad I did because I enjoy wiggle room in the toe box, but could have probably fit fine a half size smaller. Have received several compliments on them - they look more luxe than their price. Bought the same shoe in black leather and love them too. I'm new to Sam Edelman but will definitely buy this brand again.

I flux between an 8.5W and a 9W and ordered the 9W. Happy I did because they were comfortable right out of the box and are now my go-to shoes walking around. I have room in the toe box but my feet don't slip. The leather is really nice and they look more luxe than they were priced. Be aware that the metal is gold-tone - a recommendation would be to add a silver tone. These were my first Sam Edelman purchase but won't be the last.

These fit true to size. I love these loafers - the black crinkle pair is my 4th pair in this style. The leather is a bit stiffer on the patent leather, so that is why I took off one star. But I think they are timeless and beautifully made. Best part for me is that I have 4 pairs of great looking loafers for way less than 1 pair of gucci loafers!

This shoe is a great dupe for the "other horse bit loafer!" It's still a very high-quality shoe, and the leather seems like it will improve over time. It is a little difficult to get the shoe on (a shoe horn is helpful, if you've still got one of those old things!), because it has a long upper/vamp(?) (not sure of the technical term for that part of a shoe!), but once it's on, it fits like a glove, no rubbing, very comfortable.

Fall in love with the shoes as soon as I opened it. Size is at least half size bigger, but with an extra insert I used for arch support, they fit perfect. Style is classic and the shoe is well made. Worth the money! Hope one day they’ll come up with arch support.

I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in Sam Edelman and the 8 fit the best in these. They are beautiful and feel great on. Very comfortable. I bought the grey leopard brahma and the peacock blue multi serpent. They will look great with anything from skirts to jeans or something more tailored. A must buy for this season!! Get a pair before they’re gone!!

Love these shoes! Super comfortable, soft leather, classic styling. I wore them all day right out of the box with zero problems or discomfort. The other reviews were spot-on, though I did size up to a 9.5W instead of my usual 9W because I have wide feet with bunions and loafers can be tricky for me. These are long in the front toe box area, but I have had no slipping or problems. I could have sized down to a 9 W and the shoes would have been comfortable.

LOVE THESE! So soft and comfortable. Wearable straight out of the box! Once you out these on you won’t want to ever take them off. The perfect fall shoe. Highly recommend. True to size.

It is a half size larger. Good thing I read the reviews. I am however going to exchange it for the non patent leather version. The patent leather is decent and well made but is not the look I am after.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! I can't say enough about the Loraine loafer. I purchased them in silver and in pink, then additionally purchased the gold, gold glitter and sand leopard. They fit snugly, and mold to the shape of the foot. They were a little tight on my for about five minutes, or less, and now fit like a glove. They're very comfortable and super stylish. I highly recommend these adorable shoes!

These shoes are worth every penny. They look very well made and very comfortable. I did find that they run a littler larger than my other Sam Eldleman’s. Buy these shoes. You will not regret it.

Got the sparkly gold style. Very comfy. Great for me at work as I am in my feet all day. And I got tons of complements. Such a pretty shoe. May get it in another color.

I was debating springing for the designer horsebit loafers, doubting I could get what I was looking for in a lower priced shoe. I was wrong. These are great. I went a half size down. My regular size probably would have fit too.

These are great dupes for Gucci loafers and very comfortable. No breaking in required, but I would recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes like I am. Run slightly big, about a 1/2 size.
