I bought this product for school and because I have to travel a lot. It is one of the best purchases I have made. It's comfortable and holds my laptop very safely. Definitely a must if you travel a lot.

Every year kids need a backpack for school. If you're looking for a new one this year, look no further than this magnificent bag here. It's expandable and thick design allows for multiple books, binders, folders, and journals. The two side pockets for drinks are amazing. I would give this bag a solid 10. Comes with a built in safety whistle, so parents could be well assured their kids would be well heard in an emergency situation. I hope this review helped in making your purchase. I bought this backpack for traveling to Central America. All the compartments are great! The area for my laptop is well padded. The straps are so comfortable, all the wright is evenly distributed. Great backpack for traveling and school. Totally worth it!

I recently purchased this backpack for school and am excited to use it this upcoming year. I love most the laptop slot because it sits by itself without taking up space inside the backpack. The bag is also very comfortable, which is a necessity.

My 14 year old son recently selected the black/red/white Borealis backpack for starting high school this fall. He was really pleased when it was delivered and has used it even before classes have begun. He is thrilled and it's the perfect fit for him. This product was ordered and delivered with no problems. Product was purchased doe school so the product hasn't been used but I've never had a problem with a North Face product. Looking forward to using the product.

Comfortable, light weight. Overall AWESOME!!! Holds everything I need and then some. Durable for the use that its had already and plan on having this backpack for years to come.

I bought this book bag for a trip to Europe and it was PERFECT. Provides plenty of space without sacrificing size. Hard to find bags that are appealing to the eye and durable. Felt great on my back even after carrying it for hours. Received many compliments on it.

Since I received my Borealis backpack in the mail I have loved it. All of my office supplies including my computer fit comfortably inside and I still have plenty of storage space. The backpack is very light weight and I love the color scheme even more in person than online.

I have a lot of north face stuff and this in no way disappoints! Fits my computer and can't wait to use it in college!

I use it for traveling as my carry on and valuables bag. It holds my laptop, headphones, jacket, nalgene, kindle, backup battery, camera and all like champ! Great large pockets and handy small pockets. Comfortable too!

I was looking for a travel bag/carry-on. Most of the "traditional" bags I saw either looked like luggage or a campers knapsacks; neither would fit my needs. As I have always been satisfied with my Northface clothing I decided to give their backpacks a look. The BOREALIS BACKPACK seemed to fit my needs and now after using it knows it does. It has numerous pockets, pouches, netting and cords to hold everything I need, its protective of my laptop and tech ware, and is comfortable to shoulder. And, even with all this utility it still has just enough style for me. I recommend it.

This back pack is awsome. MIT is light weight very duriable and also has plenty of storage room. An Other perk of this pack is that it is water restraint cause ing everything to say dry inside if the outer pack is wet.

By far the BEST backpack out there right now! Not only does the Borealis backpack come with a padded laptop sleeve, it also has a two great compartments for my water bottles. Amazing for mountain trips on the weekends and even for school. My back feels great, not like others that make your back start aching after one day of use. I was happy to find out that the American Chiropractic Association endorsement wasn't some sort of sales gimmick. This is probably the best purchase I've made in 2014. I recommend this 100% to anyone out there looking for an outstanding backpack.
