I replaced my son's Jester II with this one and the colors of this backpack are great and I know that he will get many years use out of this one just like his first one.

This bag is awesome. I am a high school senior and it fits most of everything I put in it. Great style, comfortable and just perfect.

Shipping was fast. I can load a lot of stuff and even hang stuff on te front. The color is perfect for me. It doesn't look or feel bulky.

I love it but there isn't space to put a lot of stuff in it. It feels very comfortable on your back

I haven't owned a backpack since college days and I'm now 53 years old. I've carried a canvas brief case to trade shows for years and often come away exhausted and in pain from carrying unbalanced weight all day long. I was headed to Tennessee for a show followed by some time in the Smoky Mountains and thought I would give a backpack a try. I chose North Face as it was the brand I bought for my kids when they headed off for college. I chose the Borealis as it appeared to be the size I needed and I liked the price. As it turned out it was the perfect choice. It had plenty of space for all the literature I picked up at the show as well as secure storage for my laptop and tablet. It then was the perfect size for the mountain trails of the Smoky Mountains. Plenty of room for camera and lenses, snacks, beverages, sweatshirt and assorted other supplies. The straps were super comfortable as well. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The BOREALIS BACKPACK in black is just what I was looking for. I recently went back to school and needed a comfortable way to get my books to classes. Even with a heavy load the backpack sits comfortably and does not dig into my shoulders. I have gotten compliments on it and believe it will last through my three year program and then some!

Once again The North Face doesn't fail! I have only ever purchased their backpacks for my kids and this time was no different. Excellent quality and long lasting material!

This backpack is awesome! I am in nursing school so we have a lot of books to carry around and this backpack is perfect for that. I really like all the little pockets and space that it has too.

This backpack is excellent. Everyday, I have to carry about 4 textbooks as well as buch of other notebooks, binder, and other miscellaneous items. Every other backpack I've had before this either eventually ripped or didn't even fit everything in the first place. When I bought this backpack though it fit all my stuff, and is very comfortable and durable. This price might be a bit high for some but it is worth every penny. Honestly, not even going to consider any other backpack after this.

I ordered these after my kids got their backpacks. I love the quality and the amount of compartments that these packs offer. There is durability and stability built into ever stitch made on this first quality backpack. The problem is the stylish pack, along with the workmanship and warranty I'll never have to buy another one the rest of my life.

I bought this bag after my yapavai that I purchased 10 years ago started to wear down (still 100% wearable) I sent it in to the northface and they gave me 50 bucks toward a new bag! This is easily one of the greatest investments you can make. Aside from having a quality product you can always rely on no matter what the weather or climate, the customer care is excellent. I have spent two years studying overseas and my bag has practically been through every test I can imagine and still looks new. I can't stress how great of a product the northface makes, if the price is scaring you, just think about all the use you will get out of the bag. Northface bags are not buy a new one very year. These things are built to last a lifetime.

I use this bag for school every day. It has 2 slots 1 for my iPad and one for my laptop and then plenty of space for books

I bought this backpack in TNF Black, and i absolutely love it, i like how it can be very small and compact I love non bulky backpacks, and it can also fit a lot of stuff in there as well with out looking or feeling bulky at all. The padding on the backpack is amazing and i love the whistle on it as well. Great backpack for hiking and for school.

I purchased the Borealis for my 15 year old son, who has managed to tear up every other bag he has had. While it is too soon to know how this one will hold up, the lifetime guarantee assures me it will be of little consequence whether he destroys this one. There is nothing cooler than a Northface, and this bag just oozes awesomeness.

I've tried other bags before. My older son has a similar bag and has had it for the past 3 years. Yes you pay a little more than the cheap bags in department stores but the quality and durability is great. I would recommend this product to any school child.

This bag feels heavy but when you wear it it's like you have nothing on your back. The arm straps and back are cushioned so well that you don't feel like you have anything in your bag and also you will feel no shoulder pain whatsoever. Borealis back pack has a built in laptop case that makes me know for sure that my Mac book is safe. There is so much room that you can use this book bag as a school bag or a travel bag. Best product ever. You will know that your money was well spent because it sure was for me.

Love this backpack for my kids....very durable.....zips up easily...and most importantly is is easy on the back and very comfortable .

I recently purchased the Borealis styled backpack for college and I love it! It's such a sturdy and reliable bag. I know my items are safe when they are inside any of the multiple pockets. I love the security straps located on the backpack. They really come in handy when hiking or riding your bike. Best backpack ever!
