Love the color! There is so much space and padding. Also the fleece lined pockets where a pleasant surprise. Pricey bag, but WORTH IT!

I bought this backpack for two of my daughters for Christmas. One daughter is a college student and the other is a seventh grader. I had no idea how much they would love them or how they would help keep them organized. In the past, my girls had always carried "designer" backpacks. You know, the ones that are typically more expensive, come in great colors, but are essentially just one large open fabric bag with a zipper. We had no idea how much the different compartment and pockets on our Northface backpack would come in handy and help to keep the girls work organized. We went from searching through our 7th-graders bag each night to find the right homework to her simply opening the "homework" pocket and pulling it out. And, the backpack is lighter than others while at the same time able to hold more things; school books, notebooks, phone, headphones, pencils, lunch. We are done looking for backpacks at the beginning of each school year. I am sure these will last for years, but even if they want new colors we will be buying Northface from now on. You can look for a better backpack, but you won't find one.

This backpack lives up to expectations and has phenomenal compartmentalization, sturdy design, comfort-driven features and is ergonomically very sound. Highly recommended. And this is coming from someone who never writes reviews.

Absolutley love it!

Absolutely fantastic backpack for the price! It is very durable, comfortable and functional while still keeping a minimal looking design. The fleece lining on the inside is a great touch as well! I do think the laptop sleeve could be bigger to better accommodate laptops that are 15.6", which is a standard size. Haven't used it in the rain yet so I can't comment about that. All in all, I would definitely buy again!

My son is using it for school, overnights, and hiking. Great versatile backpack.

I finally decided to buy myself this backpack for Christmas and when I clicked the button to secure the payment I kind of regretted it, just because it was pricy. However when it came in, that little regret disappeared and I would buy this backpack again and again. It's comfortable and sturdy which is all I ask for in a backpack. If you know a preppy, or outdoorsy person, this is the perfect gift!

I use this bag daily to my office.

This is my second one. The first is still in great shape without rips, breaks or tears after 4 years, just wanted a new color.

Looks great! Soft material and padding inside. Would rather the small pocket in the front to be made of different material to place pencils and pens, but overall great product!

I love how comfortable this backpack is....perfect for day hikes. Looks great! Love the color too!

Overall the backpack is well built, buy may need some work with its overall product weight.

I'm currently a Highschool senior about to be a college freshmen and this backpack has helped me out so much with carrying all my books and also my laptop! I love it so much! It also helps that it's cute! ;)

Holds and organizes everything I need for the day- books, dance gear, lunch.

Purchased this for my daughter (5th grade) to use for school. She walks to and from and usually has a pretty good load of books, lunch, shoes, etc to carry. This comfortably fits everything - and since her sister has the same pack, I know it is going to last a lot longer than other packs she had. The capacity, comfort and durability make the expense of this pack well worth it.

Loved both but they made huge improvements since my first from 1998. Bought this one because my last one was dirty but not worn out as it should have been. I took it on every trip, it's been around the world with me. Looking forward to traveling with this one in a few days. Love my backpack for everything.

Very solid product

I love the padding! Makes your laptop or device feel safe in there.

This backpack has so many great features! My daughter uses it to take her books and everything else to school. The interior pockets are very roomy. And she loves the padded pocket for her laptop! In fact, she can carry two laptops because it has two padded pockets! We would recommend the backpack to anyone who has lots of books/stuff to carry.

I bought this backpack for school, it perfectly fits my 13 inch laptop, two large notebooks, textbooks, waterbottle and a sweater with plenty of space left. I looks larger than in the picture which is better because it has more space. Compared to my last backpack this is a hundred times more comfortable and i barely feel the weight on my back, its simply perfect for college
