I wanted to love these - Birkenstock support in a closed-toe style would be amazing. Unfortunately, they really squeezed my instep, and the heel comes up a bit too high and felt like it would tear my skin if I walked more than a few blocks.

I wear a 38 in the Birkenstock Birki (polyurethane) clog that is often used by kitchen staff. I purchased this shoe in a 38 as well and found it to be extremely tight and uncomfortable on my foot. I am returning this item.

Way too tight, could barely get them on. Exchanged for next size up and had the same problem. Plus, glue stain on inside of shoe. I really wanted to like them but very disappointed in sizing and workmanship.

The shoe was narrow and the toe box was constricting. Try out the other styles if you need a wider fit. This brand makes a long lasting good shoe.
