Love these. As with all Birkenstock’s they need to be broken in. I wore them a few days with heavy socks to stretch around the ankle and toe and after three days I’m wearing them without socks. Very comfortable. They are my favorite of the four pairs of Birkenstock’s that I own.

I own several Birkenstock’s and order the same size as I always wear, 36, 5-5.5. I wear a size 7 in US made shoes but always go down in shoes that have euro sizes. As with all Birkenstock, they are a little tight and stiff at first, they need to be broken in. But I love them, they are going to work just great for me. These are replacing a Vionics slip on sneaker that have never been really comfortable. Looking forward to wearing another great Birkenstock style!

I have the offwhite Nubuck leather, they are not too hard to keep clean but it is a challenge. The shoes are a bit roomier than other Birkenstock shoes I own, but give plenty of toe space. I wear with socks and it’s fine. This is my go to shoe for most jeans and long casual pants.

Great for fall. Too cold in Midwest for my Birk sandals, these are wonderful for everyday. If you love your Birk sandals, try these! Would love in more colors.

These shoes are so cute and stylish. Unfortunately, they were a little too snug in the toe box for me so I will be returning.

Not thrilled with the color selection and I had to buy special no show socks to wear with them but they fit just like my other birks- not too tight anywhere, no heel slipping. I think they’ll be better once they are broken in a little more, and I am afraid of getting the canvas dirty, but definitely keeping them. Nice to slip on and go.

I love these so much I purchased 2 pair - 1 for hiking/beaches and the other pair for city errands. I get compliments all the time on the style and trendy look. No one can believe they’re Birkenstocks! Very pleased!

cute shoe! I was so excited to receive this. I've been wearing Birk's for decades and love them. This is the RARE Birkenstock that did not suit my foot. The canvas pinched around the big toe area and I got huge blisters on my heels and sides of my feet. I tried wearing them with socks to stretch them or break them in, to no avail. I also found them narrower than expected, and the canvas came up so high on my instep I found the shoe awkward and difficult to put on. I'm sad to return this pair of shoes.

Liked the shoe but foot slipped out when walking and arch support wasn’t what I expected.

I usually wear a 39 in Birkenstocks but since this has a closed toe I went up a size and I’m glad I did. They fit great. I have plantar fasciitis and this will give me another option than just sandals in the summer. I like the looks of them and I’m hoping they will provide the support I need when I go to Ireland. There is one rough spot where the stitching sticks out a little and it irritates the top of my foot. I’m going to try something to fix that, just not sure what yet.

I really, really wanted to like this shoe. I need a shoe to wear on vacation. Unfortunately, this shoe was just to narrow for me. If it was just a tad wider I think it would be okay. I don't think it will stretch either so I returned it. I normally wear a 41 in Birkenstock (size 10) but again, just too narrow.

I can't wear due to an injury to my left foot and some arthritis in it now. Right foot felt ok. I think they are a beautiful shoe. Too expensive to not love and keep.

Fit and size were fine - canvas was a little frayed but didn't look too bad. What bothered me was the rigidity of the canvas - very abrasive on my bare feet

I am so glad these came in black! The Barre is the perfect shoe for the gym AND walking around. I have been waiting for these to come out in Black. I need the support of Birkenstock in my gym shoes and have had trouble finding something for years. Personally, I prefer the canvas, but at least these are black. Typically, I wear a 39 in sandals and 40 in shoes. I’m closer to a 40 in these, but have the 39. They are great lengthwise and do not have the toe grab. The normal (wide — open foot symbol) is relatively narrow, especially across the foot. I am hoping they will stretch.

I really wanted to love these. But they are very wide (even for someone who wears a medium width) so sadly I returned them.

beautiful shoe but although I have a medium width foot I could not get these on past the ball of my foot.

Loved the way they looked. Footbed has great support. Unfortunately, the heal and the elastic around the shoe opening are uncomfortable and rub against your foot. Sending these back.
