I have owned 4 pairs of these shoes over the past few years and overall they are excellent. The cognac color looks great with khaki, gray, blue, or navy pants - very versatile. I agree with other reviewers who reported that they scuff very easily and need to be polished frequently - no big deal. The more recent issue I have had is with the stitching on the toe cap coming apart. This has usually happened well into the life of the shoe (1.5-2 years previously), but more recently it has happened within 6 months, and on the current pair the stitching came apart within 2 months. I love these shoes but unfortunately I'm going to have to find a different solution.

Don't overlook the reviews that say they scuff easily and wear down quickly. After only a few wearings I have scuffs on the toes and sides that are through the painted on color (its almost like the color chipped off and now white/tan plain leather is showing through). The price is attractive, but thought they would last a little longer.

The style and fit was great, just the quality of the shoe was absolutely horrible. Barely lasted 4 months without ripping and getting entirely destroyed.

What a great and high quality looking shoe. I purchased them for my son. They were just what he was hoping for. They fit as expected and he reports that they are comfortable as far as dress shoes go. They look great on him. Couldn’t be more pleased. He has only had them for a few days so I can’t comment on their durability, but they seem to be high quality dress shoes and we are pleased with them. Would order them again. the size was perfect and the width is great and they look sharp

Very comfortable and stylish. However, it doesn't take the shine very well and the sole's color fades away. I have to reapply shoes dye several times since I bought the shoes two months ago. Very poor dye job at the factory. in hindsight I should have bought a better quality shoes like Allen-Edmonds. Don't let the low price change your mind about high quality shoes, not worth it.

Hubby was looking for a new pair of dress shoes and these were perfect. Great classic style, soft and comfortable.
