I wanted these to work so badly which is why I ordered 3 different sizes. Sadly as the size fit better, the width was too narrow for my flat foot. Had to return all of them.

No cushioning, no arch support, hurt my feet.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock’s and I like the way they fit. I wear a size 8 and ordered a 39 narrow.

Cute but I’m not sure I can imagine a worse pair of shoes. They are extremely difficult to put on. Once they are on they are so loose that I stepped out of them and the ankle straps kept the shoes tied to my ankle so the shoes became tripping hazards. If I took tiny shuffling steps I could keep them on, but the ankle strap acted like a saw at every step the cris-cross tightening painfully as they moved. I tried tightening in different ways, but nothing actually works. They are amazingly poorly designed!

Dangerous! not because they look really awesome, but because I was unable to walk safely in them. They are extremely difficult to put on. Once on my feet they flopped around as far as the ankle straps allowed: far enough to step out of the toe straps and trip over the part tied to my ankles. They are going back! I wish Birkenstock was making more shoes with the heel strap. Alas, I will probably need to find a different brand and shoe addiction.

I love the look of these sandals especially over the other Birkenstock designs. I was shocked that someone said they wore them right out of the box. I found them painfully uncomfortable. Once they were broken in I was able to 10+ a day without any problem. My biggest gripe is that after only three weeks the cork is starting to break apart. This is my first pair of birks and I bought them on reputation. I'm sad to be so disappointed.
