Not enough straps to hold my skinny feet in place. Not great for narrow feet.

Loved the styling of the thin straps and placement across the toes and the color, but i couldn't figure out how to wear the ankle strap so that these would stay on my feet, especially given that i'm not crazy about tight straps around my ankles. Just not secure at all even when tightened moderately, since without backs there is nothing really holding the foot down in the shoe, and when it does slip out the back, you stumble over it and get jabbed by the edges of the foot bed. Something is not right with this design, for my feet anyway. Gave it a few tries around the house at different times, but i know i'll never wear them in reality, so returning. That being said, loved the style and the look.

I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 narrow and a 40 in Birks. I ordered this in a 39 after reading reviews. They are super beautiful, the width is true to size, and I wanted to love them...but the ankle strap was way too loose and flimsy which meant my feet were not secure. Because of that, my toes kept hitting the ridge at the front of the footbed which was crazy uncomfortable. Beware if you have very thin ankles!

I wanted to love these - I really liked the style and the usual clunky Birkenstock profile was actually narrower and less bulky. The straps are nicely "lined" with soft wool facing. A very nice touch! However, I thought the footbed was very uncomfortable, hard and not very cushy. They are going back.

I wanted to love these, but I also wanted them to be comfortable. No matter how I wrapped the strap, the footbed didn't stay on my foot when I walked. I had admired them on a friend, but they aren't for me.

My normal Birkenstock size 41 (US 9.5/10) was correct in the Daloa and the comfort is great as usual. I ended up returning because I didn't love the cut of this style, the toe strap is thinner than the ankle strap and I think this makes them look unevenly distributed (Love both the Madrid and Gizeh styles)

These were adorable and fit perfectly, but even taking a few steps around the house, my toes kept sliding off the front of the shoe. I adjusted them several times, but nothing seemed to help. I wanted to love these. The cutest Birkenstocks ever and true to size. Sadly, had to return them.

The ankle straps are way too long. I imagine most people with a narrow foot, on average, have narrow ankles. If you have skinny ankles, I do not recommend these at all. If you have wide feet, I also do not recommend them. On the plus side, they are really cute, so if you have average to large ankles and a narrow foot, these will fit you well.

I'm a 6.5W and these are only slightly too narrow - I can see the edges of my feet pillowing out a little but it's not uncomfortable. The arch support is minimal and the footbed is comfy enough. I'm disappointed that the straps are only leather on the outside and plastic on the inside. I doubt it would hold up as well as 100% leather. They're really cute, but I went with the Yara instead (which fit perfectly). Extremely light weight shoe that feels like I'm not wearing anything! I ended up returning because the fit wasn't 100% and the quality is less than I expected (plastic/combo vs 100% leather).

These sandals are really cute. I really wanted to love them but they are way too narrow for my feet, and I have narrow feet! I have the Arizona’s and these are no where near as wide as those. It’s too bad, but I returned them :(

Cute sandal, but I have always had a difficult time with Birkenstock sizing. I wear an 8-8 1/2 M and got a 39N in this. Length was okay, width was still a bit wide. The main issue for me was the toe bar really hurt my feet when I walked. It was positioned correctly, but it was really uncomfortable. Hadn't tried a Birkenstock in several years, but thought I would again. They still don't work for me, so the shoes were returned.

The straps around the ankle did not fit around ankle comfortably.

I liked these, but ultimately went with a different pair of sandals because the style of these ended up not appealing to me. They were very comfortable and light weight. I just didn't like how they made my feet look.

loved the narrow footbed for my long narrow foot, but the single strap by the toe looks weird. If the back strap around the ankle were combined with the Granda decorative strap - you'd have a winner!

I wanted to love these sandals because they're more feminine than other Birkenstock styles. I typically wear a size 7 or 7.5, and the 37s fit me perfectly lengthwise but they were too narrow. And I don't consider myself having wide feet. The 38s were too long and also borderline too narrow. Unfortunately both pairs had to be returned, but I would definitely buy these again if a regular width was offered.

I really wanted to love this sandal. Do love that it is a little more narrow/less clunky that the average Birk, however, the ankle strap was not sufficient to hold my foot in the shoe, found that my heel was slipping back out of the sandal no matter how I adjusted the strap. Sadly, will be returning.

Loved these and was so excited to see the UPS man show up today. Unfortunately these seem to run a full size too small. I own no fewer than 10 pairs of Birks all size 41 and these do not fit like all the rest. The toe bar seems to be closer to the end of the foot bed and my toes push on the end...Which just doesn't work. (I will note that I have ridiculously long toes!) That being said, they are darling and if they weren't out of 42s I would exchange in a heartbeat. Alas, back they go.

This show felt really weird on my foot. It hurt around the ankle, and my foot kept slipping forward off the footpad. I had to return. Looked cute but was not functional unless I was just standing and not walking anywhere.

Gigantic! I ordered size 36 and I'm normally a size 6 shoe. These sandals were still a whole size too large for me. I guess Birkenstock doesn't have any customers with small feet?

I was looking for a Birkenstock sandal that would provide some support around the ankle. These felt more like flip flop and I found the ankle strap uncomfortable. If you are looking for stability, these shoes aren't the ones.

I ordered these in my usual size, 6 1/2 narrow, but they are very wide and the ankle strap is way too big for a narrow ankle. I'm so disappointed. I love the way they look, but even with the buckles in the tightest position they are still too wide. These should not be marked as a "narrow" size.

These are super cute, but I was really disappointed to find out that they have synthetic straps. I feel that the will stretch out and break way faster than if they were actual leather. I'm returning them.

By far the cutest looking Birkenstock I've ever tried on. Unfortunately, I did not like the feel of a shoe feeling so loose and flopping around when I walk. The fit was perfect (I wear a size 9 - 9.5 depending on the shoe maker: This pair was a size 9.5), so it wasn't the fit, but rather the intended style. So I ended up returning (p.s. I love Zappos!)
