I have had my bag for 14 years and it is still as good as new

Use it bring my laptop and lunch to work... it's as waterproof a bag as you will ever find. Adjustable strap and key pocket actually are useful and make life easier. Lots of areas to hook on reflectors, carry handles, etc. Worth every penny.

Great grab and go bag. Easy access to gear, and comfortably fits my gear. The easily adjustable strap makes life groovy when I'm on the go.

Nice bag. I take this every where. It survived 2 weeks in Italy in the rain. Good for the bicycle. Works nice for the TSA also. Easy to get things in/out of the bag. Do not have to dig through zippers and pockets and folders. The red color is nice. Easy to locate and hard to loose.

I was skeptical of how awesome a bag could really be when I first stumbled upon the classic messenger. I have since fallen in love with my large bag so much so, that I found I needed another in different color options! While there aren't quite as many pockets as I'm used to, I still love the versatility and functionality of the bag. I am a teacher and this is perfect for carrying textbooks, curriculum materials, graded papers, a laptop and a lunchbox. The bag does all this while somehow remaining the most comfortable bag to carry. I would recommend this bag without reservation. It is SO WORTH IT!!

My messenger bag arrived after only 5 days from the other end of the world and since then I have been using it all the time, carrying around half of my life everyday to school, office, etc... A great bag for students who have to carry a lot of books, laptop, etc. with them. Although Im a rather short girl and always tend to overpack my bags, the shoulder strap is so great that I can hardly feel any of the weight. This is my first Timbuk2 product but I am still very satisfied with the product and the customer service. I read several comments before purchasing it and they were also there to help me if I had any questions.

I love the way the strap can be adjusted easily and quickly. I've had an older messenger bag by Timbuk2 and that one had more compartments but I really can't complain. The bag is awesome!

Superior product. What I really like are the compartments inside to hold your stuff particularly the water bottle. To my surprise, I picked the right color and the canvas material is just great.

I use this for my laptop and books for medical school. It is very useful! Sturdy, rain-resistant. However, if I have too much in it, it hurts my back to wear. I think it serves best for lighter loads. It works in professional situations as well, and looks great with a suit! Overall, very satisfied.

My son is in 7th grade and he shares a locker. A small locker. I initially bought this in medium, but because my son never uses a locker I had to get the large. Its perfect! I like the way it looks but more importantly he likes it. I got it in the pacific/night blue and it looks great.

This is the second classic messenger I purchase from Timbuk2. I had one custom made a few years ago and it's still rocking. It's been with me all over the world - Maldives, sailing the Atlantic, Sweden Scotland, Ireland, Spain, France... etc.. My brother liked it so much that I offered him one for his birthday. Hope he like's it as much as I like mine.

I was getting ready to go on my honeymoon and needed a messenger bag that could hold my DSLR, iPad, and several other items that I would need on a daily basis while traveling. After looking at several messenger bags for weeks I kept coming back to Timbuk2 and all their great reviews. With the decent prices and the amount of space in these bags I decided to give it a go. I could not be happier. Roaming around Europe with all my essentials secured and comfortable, this bag did the trick. After weeks of taking a beating in several countries it still looks amazing. Timbuk2 is a quality product and I will recommend it to all my friends.

Had to get rid of my previous Timbuk2 Classic of 8+ years. I am joining the corporate workforce and needed to get a bag with a laptop sleeve. I am surprised at how well my Macbook Air 13 in. fits in this laptop slot! I opted for the small bag and it's a little on the small side but its Timbuk2! Gonna last forever!

This bag is actually a replacement for a Timbuk2 bag I purchased last year. The inside lining of my first bag started to deteriorate slightly. I sent Timbuk2 pictures of the bag, and they offered to replace the bag for free. The kicker is that I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana, South America. They not only sent the bag to me here, they even covered the shipping! I love the new bag just as much as I loved the first one, and the quality of the customer service can't be beat!

I bought this for work and I love it. Good for carrying my laptop walking across campus. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This bag is amazing there is no other bag that I trust carrying all my stuff like I do with this one. Not to mention my things don't get wet when there's a rainstorm (I love that I don't have to worry about that). I use this bag everyday for school, work, and just going out. I bought a small which is a perfect size to fit my laptop and whatever other stuff I need depending on what I'm doing. It's a great durable bag and that will last me a while.

Perfect size for "personal carry-on" on airplane; holds everything necessary for long international trips. Love all the security pockets keep things safe from pickpockets but still easily accessible by me! I did think the strong velcro closures plus buckles a bit overkill but after using for a week in Europe, I realize the bonus of the strong velcro is you know when someone is getting in the bag! LOVE THIS BAG and look forward to many years of use!

This the second Classic Messenger Bag 2014 by Timbuk2 that I have purchased and the first one was for my Daughter. She never used it so I gave it to my Fianc. She usually over packs it. That drives me crazy. Haven't used the bag yet but have a flight next weekend I will use it then.

This bag is perfect. My tablet fits nicely in the back pocket while other papers and books go toward the front. My cell phone is safe in the Napoleon Pocket. And I really can't wait to take this bag to the Caribbean on our cruise. It will carry all the purchases from the shops we visit, hanging comfortably on my back slung over my shoulder, and it won't matter if it's raining. This bag meets my everyday needs.

I work for a sandwich shop, and one of our specialties is a really fast delivery. I think Timbuk2 was on point with their strap adjustment design for this model. Although, sometimes the shoulder pad gets flipped, and requires a few extra seconds to resolve the problem, I haven't had any real issues with the bag over 40+ hours of work, and about 100+ deliveries. Cross the body strap really adds a nice touch for that extra stability when you're going faster than 20mph dashing down the road, and the waterproof liner ensures you can abuse it under any weather. I'd say this was one of my best investments I've made this year!
