Received this not long ago so only a few days experience but already in love- great layout, comfortable to carry, tons of storage (there's at least 2-3 pockets I did not know were in the bag) and really high quality. I think this could be the last laptop bag I'll ever buy!

Everything about this is perfect. Start at the top. Shoulder pad is comfortable and adjustable. The strap is long, wide, strong and also adjustable. The fixation points are reinforced. Good grab handle on top. The flap covers the innards and velcros and clips so it stays in place. Three little compartments on the front hold thin stuff (ID) and is easy to access. I use the inside to hold folders in one compartment and an iPad and accessories (in their own case) in the other compartment. Plenty of holders for pens, sharpies, highlighters on the side, Water bottle holders inside as well. Fits great in the middle of your back and stays in place. The honey color is very nice, yellow on the way to gold, not mustardy at all. For me a perfect size and very well made. I never write reviews...this one deserves it.

My son had this bag and I like how efficient it was to use when traveling. So I decided I should get one as well, as I'd been searching for such a bag. It is everything I hoped it would be and will use much more than just travel. It will now be my everyday bag.

I am an environmental consultant. I bought this messenger bag to use as a more relaxed brief case. I use it when I do site visits and need to bring along files for my jobs, a camera, wetland flagging, tape measure, reference books and some snacks. It's wide enough to set it on the passenger seat of my car so I have access to all items I recently mentioned, secure, rather than flying off the seat everytime I hit the breaks. This messenger bag works great for me.

I really like this bag. It is super helpful for my office job because it fits my laptop, lunch, water, and more. It closes shut by Velcro and clips which is super helpful. I also really like the different zipper compartments inside. When walking it does get in the way sometimes, but not too much/bad.

This was my upgrade to a bag that could carry everything I need in a days work as a race director. It's stylish enough to go to meetings at conferences and board rooms yet functional enough to handle the day of weather, abuse, and toting. Just enough organizing pockets to keep things separated without having to fumble around eight zippers to give someone a pen or business card.

This is my third Timbuk2 messenger bag in 20 years. My first one I bought used... and I used it for YEARS. My second one I bought was large enough for my laptop. I've had it for about 4 years now and it still looks brand new. A few years ago I decided to get a "grown up" leather messenger bag, it just wasn't doing it so I caved recently and got a new Xs Messenger bag... Why you might ask? - I needed a bag that wouldn't be ruined in the rainy/snowy weather (yeah my leather bag is not made for crappy weather) - I needed a bag that would hold all my things (I have a lot of things haha) - Timbuk2 bags are worth every penny... durable, functional, and last forever.

Honestly... I didn't need another bag, but I wanted a messenger bag. I've now purchased 4 Timbuk2 bags of varying sizes. This Messenger is in the middle and it's fantastic. My others are the Spire and the one strap slingbag (slingpack?) which I also love. I was concerned that the Medium would be too big, but it's not if you're into an average size bag. I'm in decent shape at around 5'10" and it fits just right. Highly recommended. Plenty of pockets for organizing while it also has the open space to fit larger objects. The drink holders are a nice touch but not as big as expected. They fit 12oz cans nicely - may fit a 16... Haven't tried. Love it.

I have had multiple Timbuk2 bags over the past 20+ years and they are still my favorite. This color is the best yet!

Daily satchel

I've purchased many Tumbuk2 bags and I love this one as the size, quality, color, durability, waterproof, and space fit my needs for work. I especially like how I can clasp the bag for security and the zippers for me to secure my keys and other important items. My only suggestion is to make the strap longer as it falls slightly above my waist and I like to wear my bag lower.

I purchased this product as a general computer bag for daily travel between home and work, as well as, travel. It is well-crafted and appears to be very rugged. I ordered the basic version as I was under a time constraint for delivery. The only downside on my purchase is that I ordered a medium based on my laptop size, but the bag is too large for my needs. A colleague indicated that their laptop fits nicely in the small, so I may attempt to swap. Unfortunately, I am traveling and this may be difficult to accomplish during the exchange window.

Work and travel. Gift for a son who loves your products. Needed an update on a very used smaller Timbuk2.

I love this bag - it's small enough to carry my gear, but not so big that's a hassle to carry - when it wears down in about 15 years - about how long I've had my previous bag, I'll certainly get another TIMBUK2 Bag

I commute 7 miles each way to work by bicycle. I need to carry some basic fresh clothes and personal items,. I bought the yellow bag for increased visibility during twilight hours, and it is very noticeable. Overall, the bag is high-quality, well made, and is comfortable, It carries my personal items beautifully. I had been using a mountain hardware bag of similar size, and the Timbuk2 bag is lighter, and shifts less. I wish it had a small external pocket to secure a compact pistol.

The last time I purchased a Timbuk2 bag was 2007. The quality remains the same and this new bag has great feel and durability.
