Perfect for running errands. I can carry my everyday essentials. Fits my phone, wallet, and even some snacks. Super minimal but also really stylish.

I got this as an alternative to my fannypack that I used across my chest. It's a practical size it's comfortable it's easy to access while biking, and it's going to last a lot longer than what I was using. Extremely happy with my purchase

Wanted something to carry a standard 9.7" iPad and a small A5 sized notebook. Turns out it easily fits a 13" MacBook Pro without difficulty. Not large enough for a few days on the road but good for a day trip.

***note for lefties: yes, you can use if for right-shoulder carry******
the straps are attached with buckles that can be unclipped to flip the shoulder pad and buckle to either side.
now, the review: I love the yellow, which is much brighter than it looks on the website. The bag itself is small but spread out nicely, so it looks much cooler than my small messenger bag, which (despite its larger capacity) somehow looks like I stole a small child's bookbag. It's big enough to hold a thin book or e-reader, lunch, ultralight windbreaker, a few snacks, sunglasses and sundries, and light enough that you forget you have it on. It won't hold much more (a water bottle, for example). It's great for a 'light' commute (either going minimalist or paired with a saddlebag) or running errands or a short ride (say, across the bay bridge).

I was looking for a sturdy, cross-body bag that would carry the bare essentials when out and about: phone, keys, wallet, small water bottle, snack for the kid, and paper planner. This does all that in an unfussy, hands-free manner that is helpful for being a mom on the go.

I've used the bag for about a month now and it is everything I wanted in a bag. Slim, light, and carries all the important things. It has a quick access zipper to access the pockets without opening the Velcro, which is great for meetings and quiet spaces. For some, it may be too small or too slim, but that is specifically why I got it. I wanted an iPad pocket (10.5" iPad Pro with Smart Keyboard and Pencil; does not work with oversized cases our folios) and enough room for my accessories. The strap is comfortable, but leaves something to be desired, in that it is the old style and not the quick release style of newer designs; it is ambidextrous, which is good because I wear my bags on the "wrong" shoulder. The flap is waterproof and it super stiff initially, though I can tell it is already starting to soften with time. This review may not mean much given that this bag is discontinued, but all the same Timbuk2 is still where you should buy your bags for any occasion. The build quality is almost always good, especially for the price you pay.

I bought this bag to replace another Timbuk2 purse I'd bought years ago (they don't make it anymore, mine was great but finally started wearing down!). This bag is exactly what I wanted - lightweight, but with plenty of space and pockets. It fits the things I need for running errands, travel, etc. (and is also small enough to fit inside another bag if I need to get creative due to baggage restrictions). My favorite part is how it fits - it's right up against my back, and it doesn't feel like the weight is pulling down on my shoulder.

I used it for a seminar recently and it was perfect. It fit my notebook and snacks and a light jacket, plus all my daily stuff like wallet and keys. It was also perfect to take out into the city. I've also been using it instead of a purse. Way more convenient and way better looking. My dad recently bought one too because he liked it so much.

This is a great travel bag. I love the top zipper to easily access the inside. I don't like that the padded strap can't be moved around.

I use this bag as my daily bag. I love it, but can't give it 5 stars as the strap is a bit too short. If the strap was longer then it would get 5 stars.
Perfect size to carry my wallet, phone, charger bag and my work iPad..

I want to LOVE this bag and ALMOST do. The huge velcro at the front prevents me from going all in on this bag. I even thought about sewing something else into it to make the closure different but that seems bananas. The idea of ripping that huge velcro every single time I want to use the bag and eventually it wearing out felt like not a great long term fit :(
So I returned mine. But OTHERWISE I loved the shape and the material felt extremely well built.

It was a cute bag but did not work out for what I needed it. I needed a hiking bag that would accommodate a water bottle, my wallet, phone and multi tool. This bag was more of a daily use for carrying a wallet and phone. If I already didn't have one of those, I would have kept it, alas, I ended up returning it.

Just a couple of quibbles that have been mentioned that I'll echo: the fixed placement of the shoulder pad is annoying (although you can remove the strap and/or turn it upside down), and an inside zippered pocked would be fantastic.
That said, it's a great little bag and also happens to be the perfect size for a Steam Deck (or, probably, a Switch).

This big is a great little bag that is perfect for keeping it light and basic. It's big enough to fit my small Q2 camera and other basics when I'm out exploring and doing recon for photography shots.

I like the size and how easy it is to access. The drawback is the shoulder pad is not adjustable. Meaning, it is in a fixed location on the strap at one end. This is very frustrating. My work around was to take the shoulder pad off of another bag and place it on the provided strap. The arrow in the pic shows the shoulder pad I added. It would be nice if Timbuk2 would provide this as an option.

Re: style, impressive and stylish.
Re: function, it's a bit stiff and the shoulder strap pad isn't able to move, which makes it less comfortable than it could be. It's also heavier than I anticipated.
Re: features, it could use a lanyard for keys and a few extra pockets, perhaps.

Love this bag! Though a little bigger than I expected, it's exactly what I was looking for. I love the top zipper pocket and the key loop. As well as the front pocket for items I frequently use.
It replaces my messenger bag perfectly, and fits everything I need it too.
The only negatives I can mention are stiffness (not very pliable to the body) and size expectation (totally my fault), I also expected the strap to be adjustable at both ends of the pad, though it's not. The size and rigidity just take some getting used to.
All in all, I'm excited to use it through the summer and on trips!

Great in inbetweener size here.
Fits a ton of goods and love the zipper on the top so you don't have to open the flap.
Only downside is I wish the pad was movable on the strap

just here because i was looking up this bag to recommend it to someone , i have an older one that i use every day and really like . the overall form and size is just incredibly ideal . btw i bike as my primary vehicle and live in a regional city . i also like the reversible strap . the stitching did come most of the way out on one of the loops that holds the main strap , i sewed it up myself cause im bad at mail but i think there was some kind of mail in repair policy . i wish this one still had the u-lock loop set up in such a way where theres a second loop on the main body , the lock kind of holds the bag closed on mine when its overfull and i feel like the way this one is the weight could actually like flop it open . nice style on the black one tho . take the bottle opener off this one and put the second lock loop back on and it's basically my ideal bag . also im assuming it still comes with the second strap that buckles it so it cant move from back to front - adding that second strap is an absolute essential for freedom of movement while biking . you gotta put that thing in the pictures

Great for everyday carry. Love taking it out when I don't want to bring my whole backpack. If you plan on using it to carry your Ipad, be careful since my Ipad Pro 11" with the magic keyboard doesnt fit well in the padded slot, and even in the main slot is a little snug. (-1 star since the promo pictures feture an ipad and mine was a snug fit, and not the large model.) Great build and I hope it lasts as long as my other TB2 bags.

I like this bag, however, I found it extremely frustrating that the shoulder pad does not move. Disappointing. They could have come up with a more inventive, functional and practical way to keep it in place when needed and move it when you want. The pad is sewn in on one end but not the other which makes no sense. This is the one issue that kept me from giving the product 5 stars. Other than that, the quality, style and size are perfect. Compartments work well. Fabric may be a bit stiff and the strap material is thin.

This bag is aesthetically gorgeous but the strap is a bit problematic. The strap padding thing is in a fixed place that doesn't quite work with the balance of where the bag needs to be worn and the clip holding the excess strap is, whilst such a great idea, a bit like a weak handshake and so keeps coming undone.
Anyone any ideas how to sort this out - I've still got my old Timbuk2 bag which I bought about 20 years ago so my loyalty isn't in question!
