This is the first pair I've ever bought that are too narrow. The foot closures did not cover all the velcro when the shoe was on.

The fit was perfect. I bought these because I have arthritis in one of my big toe joints (MPJ arthritis) and Alegrias were recommended. They work well for this. The only reason I did not give five stars is that even though the straps are supposed to be leather they feel a bit like plastic. Still, I would recommend the sandals.

Overall comfortable and nice. I bought a 42 when I'm really a 43 (they don't come in 43). They weren't that short on me, but my toe reached the stitching at the end and I was worried about it rubbing. Also, I was really looking for something a little more refined looking. Would be great with shorts and jeans.

Hurts my bunion but I’ve already worn them so I’m keeping them. Hey feel too short but I’m a true size 8. Good quality otherwise. Thanks

I really loved these sandals; they are well made with well padded straps, a cute style, and the Aztec Dottie color was pretty . They were comfortable right out of the box with no rubbing. Unfortunately they did not provide enough support and my custom orthotics did not fit so I returned them. I have never been so sad about returning a pair of shoes.

I've really been trying to like and keep an Alegria shoe or sandal. But, though I have high arches and should need a style like this, they just don't feel great when walking. The feeling in the footbed is too firm for me, as I take each step. Maybe I'm just not used to the rocker style, but it didn't feel too weird. The shoe's bottom is firm, yet it's flexible as the description says, but slidy/slippery like others have mentioned. Just not ahhhhh feeling for me, kinda like a firm blob underneath my foot. Cute sandal styles, though.

These are pretty in person, too -- but they are wide strap sandals -- they fit pretty well, but the footbed is not as supportive as the Verona sandal is --still, I kept it- love the look of these - they do feel good on, just not as much arch support --so if you want something cute go for it.

I wanted to love this gorgeous sandals and by all accounts they would be very comfortable, if they were just a pinch wider. I do not normally wear wide width shoes, but I wish Alegria carried these in a wide.

I tried on this at a local store and it felt great. I was very excited for the arrival of this shoes. When I tried on after receiving it, I found the back strap is little lower. The join between the insole and the floral material are not fitting correctly and cutting the edge of my feet. After looking closely, in some places, the insole is on top of the floral material, some are below. When the insole is below the floral material, the cutting edge of the floral material scratches my feet and uncomfortable. I am going to return it. I really like the color but it does not fit. I also own a Mary Jane style shoes which fits really well.

I think I will just go barefoot! I have a ridiculously high arch and have tried dozens of shoes in an effort to find some decent footwear. Zappos is loosing money on me for all the free shipping.....sorry about that Zappos. These shoes are good looking for the style and well made but just do not offer enough arch support and I cannot find an insert to help....so back they go.

I bought a pair of these to wear for a choir concert. The support and the cork foot bed made for a good combination for standing still for an extended period. My feet didn't fall asleep. The arch did start to feel a little hard after a while but still comfy overall. Liked them so well I had to get a pair of the adorable floral ones when I found Zappos carries this style.

This is a very comfortable shoe but because of the shape of the toe it does not accommodate my bunions because my toes angle towards the shorter side of the shoe. It seemed a little narrow also.

This shoe was about 1/2 size too large.

First time purchasing this brand. After reading how comfortable they are for people with problem feet (arthritis in my toe joints, swollen feet during the course of the day) I decided to give them a try. I don't really think I would have chosen them otherwise, not really my style. However, they look a lot better on my feet than I thought they would, the Aztec Dottie color goes with everything, and most importantly, they are comfortable. I am almost always a size 7, mostly medium/sometimes wide width. The size 37 regular width fits perfectly. Plus, I can adjust the straps if my feet swell. I've been wearing them every day for about a week now and I've had no problems so far. I'm getting ready to go on vacation and anticipate a lot of walking. I think these will be fine. I have already ordered another pair of Alegria shoes. Hope I'm as lucky with those!

I own several styles of sandals from Alegria, but this one isn't quite as comfortable as the others, nor does it feel as supportive. My other styles have more straps which may be contributing to the difference in support. This style was also shorter in length. Overall it's a cute sandal, but not one I would purchase again.

These sandals are cute and very comfortable right out of the box. The fit feels good and true to size. Walking around them is very comfortable and they look good with casual summer dresses. I have decided to return them, however, because even on carpet, the sole is slippery. I wear flats because I am recovering from a knee injury and I am unwilling to wear shoes that have a slippery bottom. Thanks!

I would REALLY love to find a pair of Alegrias that fit me. I put them on and I LOVE how the footbed feels: supportive, cushy, etc. but, alas, my rather narrow, low instep, boney feet just haven't found a style that works. The adjustable straps allowed these to stay on my feet, but they just looked so huge, rather humorous even. Maybe someday, they will make a narrow width and my dreams will become a reality...

I'm glad I ordered this sandal, I thought it was really "cute". I am returning because the foot bed feeml short and the insole wasn't the soft "cork" I had expected. And I will try Alegria again!

I wish Alegria would consider making a larger size!! I wear a 43 in Euro sizing and would really like to purchase some of their shoes! One of my friend's has about 12 pr of this brand and loves them. Her foot is very similar to mine except a bit smaller and she loves the shoes. The color of this shoe is great to wear with a lot of shades of clothing.

Very comfortable and supportive sandals. The Cowgirl Tar design is attractive and a bit more subdued than the other options if bling is not your thing. : ) I tried both these and the Verona style and found the Vienna to be less clunky-looking and somewhat more adjustable for narrow feet. The slight rocker sole takes the stress off my arthritic big toe joints. Now that I have joined the problem foot population, I'm really grateful for Zappos' generous exchange and return policies!!

I wish the strap that goes across the top of the foot was longer. Very comfortable and trying to find another style, same brand.

I love the look and color of the sandal. Comfort and support are key to me in a sandal or shoe. Alegria is the brand I go to repeatedly.

Sole is to hard for me the arch hits on a uncomfortable place on my foot that has plantar fasciitis. The parttern does not match the other shoe, stripe is off center, not good for the price of the sandal, other than that it is a pretty shoe, sorry they need to be returned I had high hopes they would be a keeper.

Such a cute shoe! Like the black, shiny, textured material with the dressy silver decoration.Comfortable and supportive.The way the insole fits into the shoe was a bit sloppy but it probably wouldn't be noticed.

Just not for me. The bottoms were clunky and just didn’t look good on my feet. Returned.
