These shoes are extremely comfortable but as with all Alegria shoes that I have owned, they squeak when walking. This doesn't stop me from wearing them, but it is an annoyance at times.

I was disappointed in the footbed. I expected more support from this brand.

I can't review this item because this is the THIRD time I have to return a pair of shoes that were sent the wrong size! I ordered size 40 for each pair and received a 37, which I have never ordered before and which I haven't worn since I was about 9 years old! Zappos evidently has some sort of glitch, and it's getting tiresome returning these.

The bottom sole is slippery. Would not be good on wet or uneven ground

Disappointing. These feel hard compared to cushioning in SAS sandals. Did not feel like I could walk far in these without it bothering my plantar fascitis.

Uncomfortable to wear. Very little padding or softness. Also felt flatter than a 1.25 inch heel. Overall, a pretty sandal just not for me.

Design looks cheezy. Maybe just not my taste.

Would have liked the heel to be padded and wanted to adjust the back strap for better fit but I couldn't do so. Had hoped for more arch support.

This shoe is adorable but the foot bed is very wide and unattractive for my foot.

I bought these sandals for an upcoming trip when I will need good support for long days of walking in hot weather. They felt comfortable and were pretty cute. After wearing them for several hours though, around the house, the strap across the top of the foot began to cut into my ankle. The leather is very stiff. I don't have time to see if it would soften in time so unfortunately I have to return them.

Didn't like the print on the leather.

I wear only Alegria sandals because they give my tired old feet the support and comfort I need. My podiatrist concurs that this brand is excellent. I have several styles all with a 1 1/2" heel. This style has a 1 1/4" heel and was uncomfortable for me. In addition, the "brooch" color is a yellowy/pale green. I was expecting a tint of beige. I am sending these back and reordered another style. I now know the heel height that is most comfortable for me. Thank you, Zappos for making this so easy!

Tried a 38, Too small. Exchanged for a 39. Too big. Nice shoe give it a try, keep box for possible return.

I am returning these for a few reasons. 1. The lower part of the shoe has a wood grain look which is fine but it has a definite green hue that I do not like. 2. I have a few pairs of Alegria and love them but I know they will squeak eventually and I am used to that. This pair was squeaking when I first tried them on which makes me wonder how loud they will eventually become. 3. This may just be me but on the left shoe where the soft leather foot bed meets the outer stitching, it is scratchy enough that is was uncomfortable right away.

the arch support hits a little too far back. I own the navy blue ones & they hit perfectly. I tried wearing them in apt for the day anyway, made my feet, back & hips hurt so returning

This is the second pair of these! They are for people with wide feet! I’m disappointed! It says B should be W They’re Velcro! The other pair I had were prettier! These are kinda boring they have a design, it’s barely noticeable. If I pull the Velcro tightest They are ok, but Because they are leather they will stretch, so they will end up useless! I preferred my other ones! If you have wide feet they’re great . I really need sandles!

I’ve not worn them since it’s too cold, I’ve rather Narrow feet, the Velcro barely works for me, if they stretch they will be too big! So not sure what to do yet? They look kinda cute. The length is good, I’m just concerned about them stretching out?

I'm not sure about these, My feet are narrow and I've had pull the velcro to nearly the end. Being leather they will probably loosen up and be to wide for me. The style is not too bad, It's nowhere near summer, So really can't test them out! Nice though.

This style was reasonably comfortable except for the stitching around the footbed and the very slippery sole. The reason this one had to go back was the pattern (‘what a frill’). What I thought might be cute and slightly funky (in an old fashioned way) turned out Not to be ‘funky and cute’ but (imo) ugly and very cheap looking....certainly for someone like me (in my 60s)...a true throwback to the ‘hippie days of the 1960s.’

I was very excited to receive the Alegria Vienna but after a week of wearing it the right foot squeaks when I walk. It really made me feel self conscious and now I just don't wear it. It is an attractive shoe but when it directs attention to you because of the squeaking sound it now sits in my closet. I tried sprinkling powder under the insole but that didn't do a thing. Feel very disappointed because of the price of the shoe. Maybe someone else has had this problem and will post their solution.

These seemed comfortable, but were too wide for my long, narrow feet (I ordered a 42). I wish manufacturers would stop using the cheap velcro fasteners which don't allow for enough of a custom fit. The biggest disappointment with these sandals, however, is that they had obviously been worn and returned. Tissue paper in box was torn, footbed of one sandal had marks on it, and sole of another had a scuff.

These sandals are so wide...only those who have very wide feet will feel comfortable in them. I have borderline wide feet and I couldn't adjust them enough to make them work for me...nicely made and I love that you can take out the sole and put in custom orthos ...but still need very wide feet to be right for you!

Fit was ok, but hard plastic soles are slippery on tile, so I'm returning them.

these were the proper length, but they were too wide, and I do not have a narrow foot. Also, there was arch support, but the shoe is so stiff there is no bend at all to them and they cause pain because of this

I ordered the 36 & 37 to determine size. But I returned them because the red was very dull looking & the rocker action of the sole was weird. Did not like these at all.
