71 year old with a narrow foot. I only like CUTE shoes. These are cute! After foot surgery in August, I purchased my first pair. I have worn them constantly. The fit is great, velcro adjusting for narrow or swollen foot. I can wear them out of the box. That is high praise for a shoe. I like the button accent on the velcro straps...look less orthopedic. These are the most comfortable sandals with great arch support. I have had problems with my arches (plantar fasciitis), and therefore I need strong support. These are so comfortable and I wore them right out of the box and was on my feet for about 12 hours with no pain at all. They aren't the most stylish, but sometimes I must sacrifice style for comfort!! Haha

Love, love, love this sandal. This is my 5th pair of Alegrias, and it's now my favorite. Extremely comfortable, and cute to boot! (Unlike the previous reviewer, my husband knows better than to comment on my footwear, but I think it's cute and that's what matters.) I have a narrow, bony foot and this style allows me to adjust the straps for a snug, secure fit. Good support for my high arch. Like it so much I've ordered a second color.

I am on my feet all day in a busy clinic setting and these are super comfortable to wear. I have issues with low arches and Morton's neuroma and these shoes do not aggravate at all. They are cute in a clunky sort of way, like all Alegrias, and I have actually received a few compliments on them from both younger and older women. I am to the point where my spring/summer/fall shoes are 90% alegria because of their comfort and durability.

Oh my gosh I LOVE these shoes!!! I've had problems with my feet for years - plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma, hammertoe - you name it. I've worn only Birkenstock's for 14 years for the support but recently decided to look for some variety. Somehow I stumbled upon Alegria and I'm in love! They are beautiful yet sturdy and I can wear them all day long without a bit of pain/fatigue. Will definitely be buying more soon!!

I usually take a larger size, (39) in a shoe like the Palome by Alegria because I wear thick socks with them; since I will be barefoot with these sandals, I went down a size, and the fit just perfect. Very, very comfortable and supportive. Ill probably get another color. Or maybe two more......

I tried the Alegria Vienna in Cowgirl Tar leather. I love love love the cowgirl tar leather but did not like the lower heel when compared to my other alegria shoes. It just felt too low and I feared the difference would bother my back and knees which is the whole reason for wearing this brand. I returned the sandal and will look again in the spring for a sandal with the normal rocker sole.

I'm a true narrow 10.5 or size 42. I ordered the 41 and 42. They both fit well. But I chose the 42 in the Black. So squishy comfy and love the little added hearts. Alegria is my favorite brand now. Adjustable in every way.

I have a pair of Alegria clogs(38s) that I love but can no longer wear following heel surgery after a crush injury several months ago. Even though my swelling is much improved, it seems my left foot will now be a half to full size larger than my right. I have ordered and returned several pairs of shoes over the last few months from Zappos, trying to get a good fit for both my feet. These 39s arrived today and they are perfect. I have been wearing them straight out of the box and they are very comfortable as well as supportive. The adjustable velcro closures and removable insole will help anyone create a custom fit-even when one foot is very different from the other one. They are cute in a clunky sort of way. Now that I have figured out my new size, I will order more Alegrias. Thanks, Zappos for great customer service and selection.

Loved the shoes. I have a narrow foot and was pleased this shoe was a little more narrow than some Alegria mediums. I need strong arch support and this style felt great from first wear. Quality workmanship.

I've never tried this brand before, but it's now on my go-to list. I bought them based on other reviews and because they were just cute and colorful. Something different. Wasn't expecting them to be so comfortable! Due to fallen arch, I had to put an arch support in the left one, but the right one is just fine. The toe strap doesn't put pressure on my ornery and arthritic big toe joint, so might be a good one for those with bunions.There is enough Velcro on the two adjustable straps (the back/heel one doesn't adjust) that it neither hangs nor irritates my skin. I'm very happy with this buy. These sandals will be on my feet for many miles.

These are adorable shoes. I have worn 38s in Alegrias in the past, but due to a heel injury and surgery, my left foot now seems to be more of a size 39. I ordered and received 39s today and they fit perfectly, thanks to the adjustable velcro straps. Thus, I will be returning these 38's. Thumbs up for Zappo's excellent return policy.

Love Alegria! This is super comfy so far, tho I do feel a little of the stitching rubbing on the side of my left foot... so will wear them at home to see if it’ll stretch out and not rub. I have bunions, falling arch and hammer toe and Alegria is the one brand that seems to always meet all my needs. I have walked 5 miles around the city and they support me well.

Perfect sandals...easy to take on and off at the nail salon ( no polish smearing), goes with all clothing colors, great arch support. One of my favorite pairs of Alegria. Bought the Aztec Dottie. Pleased in many ways.

I love them. As all Alegria shoes I've bought, they support my problem-feet I've had surgery on both feet including clipping the plantar facia and removing a heel spur. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day after I've worn them.

I need shoes that give good arch support and are comfortable to wear. I’ve worn birkies for years because they’re the only sandal that works for me. Based on reviews for Algeria Vienna I thought I’d try them. Holy Cow!!! Extremely comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period at all. The leather and footbed are very soft. Pretty patterns to choose from too. My 20 year old daughter liked the look of them so much she’s ordering a pair.

I love the multicolored pattern and the comfort is excellent. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for a sandal that offers more support than is often found in sandals

Everything was perfect for me. I've been looking for very comfy shoes for 3 years. I have heel spurs and my feet won't let me walk very far or very long without pain. I need a good padded foot bed. these are great and I can wear them all day and night at amusement parks. I adjust the straps as my feet swell. I needed something that won't fly off when I am upside down on a rollercoaster. I am 58 yrs young and these are better than my sneakers! I used to add padding to them, but I like wearing these better because my feet can breathe. As these will be worn out, I love the fact that I can keep the shoes and just change the inserts! Sent a pair to my mom and she doesn't need her orthotics with these shoes. That amazed me so I am glad for her. Try these and I think you will be thrilled. Mine fit just great as far as size went. I have a 7B foot so I got the 37. perfect

Okay, I reviewed this shoe a few days ago, but I have now noticed something that I wished the manufacturer would change. The insole does not cover the complete lenght and width of the shoe. The next size up is too large for me, but my big toe on my longest foot is just touching this ridge and I am afraid it will cause a callous eventually. I just checked 3 different brands of sandals in my closet and the insole in all of them is smooth all the way to the edges. These are wonderful shoes except for this little design quirk. Probably will not be a problem for most, but will be for me and some others I think. Otherwise great shoes and the width is adjustable for both straps.

I would have given these comfortable sandals 5 stars across the board is they didn’t have the hearts and butterflies as “decor”. But they are very comfy and fit like a glove. I’m keeping them- but I’d love it if they made these without the doodads.

Perfect fit. Easily adjustable. I have wide feet, short toes, high instep. I've lived long enough to know that if they don't fit & feel comfortable out of the box I have to return them. I'M KEEPING THESE!

Very pretty shoe considering it's somewhat of a rocker style shoe. Large toe box, comfortable insole (for a bony foot!). Moderate arch support. If you have metatarsal pain, it takes the pressure off that region. I am flat footed and it works for me. If the outer sole were just made of a softer rubber it would be perfect for walking distances. I will keep for short treks about town and summer evenings out. As others have mentioned the insole appears to be glued so may not do well in rainy conditions. Also, the traction isn't perfect. I've only worn a couple times so far, but they might be a tad slippery in certain conditions. Time will tell. Nevertheless a very comfortable shoe for a very difficult to fit foot. Of note, one of my feet is medium width, the other is wide due to bunion. Both heels are narrow. Thank you Zappos for letting me try and return so many shoes. This one's a keeper!!

I luv these sandals! They are so comfy right out of the box. These are my second pair of Allegrias & I just can't explain how comfortable they are. You won't go wrong by buying a pair.

Lovely shoe. Lovely leather, not shiny, beautiful pattern with the white background and blue flowers. Great with denim or white pants. Comfortable from the first minute I put them on to 10 hours later when I had to take them off (begrudgingly) to go to bed. I wear a size 11 or 12 shoe with a wide forefoot and narrow heel and high arch. Works for me completely. Love these shoes and love Zappos customer service.
