Like others said the ankle width is too tight when zipped. Not comfortable to walk in when rubbing on your leg. Have to return. Also they did run large. I wear an 11 and would probably need a 10 in these. But they are cute if you have skinny ankles!

Fit and size true to description. Found lower price elsewhere

Bought these for my 17 year old granddaughter for work...she is on her feet and needed something slip resistant. These do that well...She did say that there has been a couple day break in period but overall she is happy with the shoes....

This boot is awesome...as long as you have small ankles. The fit is quite roomy except for that. Hopefully they will stretch out a tad as I'm not used to having a snug fit there.

Comfortable and fashionable. Zippers do end up wearing down throughout day.

The shoe itself fit a little big like most docs. I love the style and it’s comfy BUT I returned them because the leg opening is just way too small. To zip them all the way up it’s so tight around my leg it’s uncomfortable. If they made the top wider then this would be the perfect boot. I’m sad about it and hope I can find an older pair with a wider fit in the leg.

Looked and felt very clunky on my feet - although I think that is pretty much the style of Doc Martens. Good quality, just not a good fit/look for me.....but as always, Zappos rocks!

Can't zip up over wide calf.

Love the style, but sadly had to return. These are heavy! I haven’t owned a pair of docs in years and thought I would give it a chance hoping they figured out how to make them lighter over the years. Guess not. The leather is soft but the boot is still stiff and uncomfortable, possibly from the bulky, heavy sole. Thank goodness Zappos has a great return policy!
