Way too long for me but I have a very short foot and most women's size 5 are too long. The ankle was very tight and I have skinny ankles.

Love the style and look of the boot. Made well. The only problem is the zippered ankle shaft is so small and tight, I couldn’t zip the boots up all the way. I do have wider feet but my ankles aren’t large. Totally bummed as I love the boots!

i feel like my 9.5 size foot and ankle is average? size, like i never have ankle, calf, width sizing issues on flats and boots etc... these shoes are strange. the ankle part is quite slim, so when you walk, the rim of the opening where the strap is, does hit your leg bone. so that hurts when you walk. but the shoe itself, is sooo wide and bulky looking. im pretty tall, 5'9, and size 6.... and these shoes are way big. but the ankle is super slim. i dont know who this shoe is made for.

Just like any other docs it was challenging finding the correct size. I’m a 7.5 and wear an 8 in running shoes. The 7 fit me well, so comfortable for my long standing shifts on blacktop. Plus, they are so cute to wear casually.

Tight at first but got better with time. Zippers fall about an inch during my shifts.

Sized up from my usual 7.5. Cute paired with long wool socks. I love the zippers and absence of yellow stitching.

This is the one for me. I have many pairs of Dr. Martens. I am normally 6.5 US with other brands, but I always go for 6 for Dr. Martens. If you have narrow feet like me, skinny legs and work 8 hours or more so a day, this is the perfect shoes. I am very particular that it wouldn't look too wide for my feet. This pair is so classy and versatile! I highly recommended it.

At first, I was worried I might need to go up a half a size. They fit, but if my feet swelled, I was worried they would be too tight. Don't do it! Stay with your actual size. They are real leather. The leather stretches a bit. Now, they are PERFECT! My feet are average width, not narrow, not wide. These are super comfortable. My primary mode of transportation is a motorcycle, so I literally put these on and off multiple times a day. I LOVE the double zipper. I have Docs that I have had for forty years and they are still going strong. These are even better than the tied versions I have. The leather is more supple and therefore more comfortable around my ankles. They do not dig in like the stiffer versions. I hope they hold up like my others have. I have had them for two months. There is some wearing on the toe already where I shift. I figure it gives them character, as long as they don't get hole! I highly recommend these!!!

Love the Chelsea Doc Martin boots with zippers. They are a little tight around the ankle if you wear thick socks, but fit perfect with thin socks. They are pretty comfortable, but just need to be broken in a bit. So glad they have zippers.

After reading reviews, I'm glad I sized down to a 7, not up to an 8, from my normal and standard 7.5. The one thing I noticed is that the ankle area is tight when both zippers are fully zipped. This will stretch with time, but it's odd as my ankles are on the smaller side.

Perfect pair of boots.?

I teach middle school and am on my feet all day. These are the perfect teacher shoe!

Wanted a very simple, zip up boot. This fit the bill! Good width, easy on and off. Unfortunately, Zappos sent the wrong size and were all out of stock so I had to order from elsewhere.

I am a true woman’s size 7 and this fits well. Leather is soft out of the box and comfortable, zips on both sides make it easy on and off. Compared to Blundstone woman’s high top boots, Dr. Martens has bit less toe room. I also really like the fact this style does not have the yellow stitches. Only complaint I have is Zappos raised the price the day after I had them in my cart so i didn’t get the best price :(.

I was curious when I saw these boots had zippers. I hoped they would definitely be easier to get on and off, and they are. The Napa leather is much softer than the standard DM and that’s going to help with breaking them in, although I don’t think they will need much at all. They still have the DM look and go with everything! I love them!!

Got these for work: standing, walking all day. Had enough room to put in an insole and they fit the bill. Comfortable out of the box, no break in period. Feet and legs feel better already.

Size and fit true to description. Style on point and can be dressed up or worn for a more casual fit

Love these boots! Felt great right out of the box. I previously tried a pair of DM Chelsea’s, and could barely get my foot in them. They were so stiff. So I swapped them for these boots and I love these! I’ve worn them nonstop since getting them. Soft leather. No break in period. Zippers = easy on/off. Love these!!!!

I’m a women’s 7.5 with a pretty wide foot. The 38’s fit perfect, these are super comfy!

Very comfy, would recommend to wear with a long sock or long pants because when the boot rubs against the skin it’s a little annoying. Otherwise these are amazing, highly suggest!

I love them. Spent a long time deliberating what pair of classic black boots to add to my wardrobe and decided on these. "Chunkier" than expected but so cute and still casual, not TOO edgy. Heard the break-in period would be terrible but I didn't have much of an issue. I'm usually a US W7.5 and I got a US W7 which fits perfect.

I REALLY wanted these to work, but alas my cankles prevented these from zipping all the way up. Had to return them.
