Sooo downmarket from last year's model. The bottom of the shoe is a lot more narrow than last year; also less cushioned and the whole shoe is totally stiff. The inside is hard as a rock and a very light color that will shoe street grease one wearing. Also the inside is hot/sweaty. The inside does not have molding to the foot. So disappointed; these are the only shoe I could wear all summer and be happy but they have degraded this model completely. And what about this price? That said, I'm going to have to keep them since all the "comfort" sandals this year have gone way downhill. Also these are made for a fuller foot. My foot in a medium is strapped up as tight as they go. If you need more volume these are good.

I ordered these because they looked identical to a pair of Wave sandals that were comfortable from day 1 and that I've had for years and walked and hiked in for miles. Unfortunately, the composition of sole and footbed has been changed - the material seems less breathable (I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and they felt too hot for sandals!)and looks more prone to wear. They are nice, but not the same. Why mess with perfection, Clarks? These have to go back.

These shoes run small. Also, there is a hard lip where the arch of my foot hits, making it uncomfortable for me to wear.

Initially ordered 7. Much too short; toes hanging over the edge. Then ordered 7.5. Wider. Foot slid forward, toes over the edge. Tried making front strap narrower. Didn't help. Had similar Clarks before and loved them. These just didn't work. Ended up with Rockport Franklin and they were perfect.

I have been having trouble with my feet secondary to chemotherapy treatments. I have not been able to wear a closed toe shoe, nor walk around hardly at all. I am so happy to have found these sandles, they are wonderfully comfortable!!! I don't know what I would have done without them. I highly recommend them, for arch support and ankle support in a sandle. I wear them with a sock for toe protection. Also, my friend who also has "bad" feet, asked me to buy her a pair! We love them.

Compared to last year;s model: Much skimpier cut all around. Toe area much shorter. Three times as heavy. Cheaper, rougher straps and stitching. Much cheaper footbed with very little contouring, zero padding (the footbed is hard as a rock) and, as you can see, lined in some cheap LIGHT colored fuzzy fabric which will be hot, sweaty, smelly and black with dirt after one wearing.(remember leather insoles?) The out sole has zero flexibility. And the price? All that said I'm going to try half a size larger because I've got plantar fasciitis and all the other shoes are also half the quality they were last year too. In the old days quality went slowly down; now it's another precipitous drop every year. The shoe boxes feel as good as most of the shoes out there now. Thanks China!.

I have a small, rather wide foot. This shoe is well-made, attractive when worn, and the shoe accommodates my foot width quite well; however, there was something about the shoe that wasn't very comfortable on my feet. Although I could not pinpoint the exact issue, I realized I probably would not wear them. They will be returned.

Extremely disappointed. It took a while so I can't get a refund. Didn't wear them for several weeks in Aug. due to a northern vacation. Since mid-August not too bad until early September. They were fine initially and I felt I finally had a good walking/shopping sandal. For some reason my right foot bone at the median/ball area - or width - became aggravated. It was almost like I had no support after a few weeks of wearing them. They look and feel like they should be perfect for support especially where the straps are. Not the case. Since I am in pain when wearing these and at times it transfers with other footwear, I cannot wear these expensive sandals. Hopefully, this review will be passed on the Clark's. I have many Clark's shoes/boots/sandals, but never had this issue.

The poor quality of this latest version is something you'd find in a discount store! Miserably hard insole, with narrow uncomfortable 'cupping'. This sandal was once a luxurious, comfortable 'go to' sandal with a perfectly constructed, comfortable cushioned insole. Another page in the shoe saga of cheapened, shrunken foreign made junk replacing the once true to size, and quality products we enjoyed wearing so much. Clark's is not like they used to be! Shameful! and very disappointing.

I love these shoes. I wish I could buy another pair.

Best sandal I ever wore.

I tried to order these sandals at a shoe store and they said their distributor was sold out. I tried Zappos and you sent the sandals immediately. So grateful!

I've had this same sandal for several years and it has been comfortable and held up well. I was glad to find they were still available--they weren't available in my local stores. Fit is great and I can feel the difference in arch support from my worn out pair and this new pair.

I have had this exact style for at least a year and am delighted to have a new replacement. Arch support feels especially good and gives me a more secure stride. Am surprised that this new pair feels so good - guess I have worn the others down!

Unfortunately, I have a crossover toe on my right foot which is very painful and prevents me from wearing most shoes. Fortunately, this shoe has adjustable straps which accommodate the unusual formation of my second toe. They are very comfortable, supportive, and I think, rather stylish!! I can wear them all year long here in Florida!!

These work great for my wide foot in the wide width. All day comfort. I am picking the up in every color I can.

I liked my first one so much I just bought a replacement. I wore them extensively for about a year (I live in sunny California, so I wore them a lot). I replaced them because the leather on the top of the sole wore through and the tread was almost gone. Good comfortable walking and standing shoes

I really wanted to wear these sandals. They look great and are well made, but my feet just don't agree with them. For someone who doesn't have funny feet, they'd be terrific, I'm sure.

I was pleasantly surprised by this sandal and, despite the critical reviews, I decided to try it. I have many Clarks sandals and have liked every one of them. I have worn these all day for 4 days since I received them. The soles are comfortable (not super cushy), and I do not need any arch support. It rubs a bit on the inside when I first put it on, but after 10 mins. I don't even notice it. They are very casual sandals - just jeans. I am very glad I bought them.

very comfortable fit , they are like wearing sneakers without the confines of sneakers .... great for a person who prefers sandals to a closed shoe, especially for walking

Great color, shoe OK, not cushy. I like the way these walk, but want a bit more cushion on the ball of my foot as these would be travel, aka museum visiting shoes. The sage color is really good, just enough color to be distinctive, yet a palette that would go with about anything.

These are really cute sandals, but they feel really weird in, as some other reviewers pointed out. Feels like they push on your metatarsal pad instead of supporting your arch. I figured it out. I couldn’t understand why, but then figured it out. They have a bar, presumably to go under the toes and support them, but it is located way toward the back of the foot, under the metatarsal pad. So you have really, really long toes, the bar will push on your foot pad. This review is for size 8. It is possible the fit is better for bigger sizes, and they just didn’t adjust the position for smaller sizes.

I got two pairs of threes last summer and loved them. Bought a new pair this year and they’re just not the same. The footbed is much stiffer and the arch is much higher in the 2018 model. It happy about the changes.
