after wearing these 5 times, the side attachment broke loose under very normal usage. build quality is not good.

All the vans flip flops are trash now. They still look good but they are so cheaply made. They are disposable. I wore them a couple of times over 1 week and they look like they are years old. i only wore them inside. Barely walked. These may look like they are made like vans sneakers but it's cheap foam! After 1 week the heal is compressed to about 1/4" thick at most! The black pin stripe is just rubbing off. These won't make it a month worn regularly. I tried to take a picture of how compressed the heal is. Look at how my finger dips in. And look at how the mid sole looks like a grilled cheese that's been pressed with a spatula. I'm only 165 lb. Seems like all vans are made like this. They used to make the vans richardson that lasted for years but i guess they were to expensive to produce. These should be made with sneaker soles.

Terribly uncomfortable the white side band is hard and the foot bed is soft and if you come off the foot bed at all it pokes into your foot!

Very disappointed with these. These were replacing my old vans flip flops which I absolutely loved and wore everywhere, all the time. I was excited to get these because all my previous vans were awesome. These were the opposite of awesome. They seemed extremely cheap and flimsy, not to mention super uncomfortable. A lot of other reviews mention the hard plastic edge digging into your feet, this is an understatement. I felt so let down by these. Do not buy unless you hate your feet or yourself. Zappos should remove these. I exchanged these for a pair of cobian arv 2. Thanks Zappos for the customer service, will continue to shop here!
