Fantastic shirt during recent trip to Amazon jungle. I hate Deet so lived in BugsAway gear an incurred not a single bug bite during my entire 3-week trip. Should be noted that I did wear Deet-infused bracelet over long-sleeved shirts worn over long gloves and those probably helped. Not that I also was not the least sunburned despite location pretty much on the Equtor.

Fit and size were fine. Material feels nice BUT it contains permethrin as the bug repelling agent. This is not something I would want next to my skin. I returned it.

Breathable and no bug bites after a full weekend camping trip. That is unheard of for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft, lightweight, and breathable this top is. Despite having tiny holes in the fabric, I had no problems with mosquitoes when wearing it during a recent trip to SE Asia. Keep in mind that it is pretty sheer, so is not for wearing without something under it. It feels true to size and is not boxy, so it is more flattering than I expected. I usually hate thumb holes on garments, but the fabric is so soft and thin that I found myself using them. The hood is sufficiently large to be functional, versus just being for looks. The pouch is handy for carrying lighter items (sags with heavier items like a water bottle). The small zipper pocket inside the pouch is perfect for securing a credit card and hotel room key. I am very happy with the product!

Wore this on a trip up the Amazon River in Brazil. The loos fitting soft mesh lets the air in while keeping the insects out, plus the insect repellent treatment worked. The bit of cotton in the fabric also makes this top soft and comfortable. It still dries overnight. Besides, it looks great!

I love this hoodie! Lightweight, full coverage including my wrists and hands. Very soft and comfortable.

This is my favorite pullover lightweight jacket. Secure pockets and super soft material. Great colors to choose from.

The BugsAway feature definitely works. I live in Florida and also spend a lot of time in our camper. Bugs and heat are always an issue so I always keep this shirt in our camper and use it on every trip and in every season. It's the perfect shirt when you need something on your arms in the summer or an added layer of clothing in the winter/fall. I love the quick drying mesh material, the hidden zipper pocket and also the front pocket that's roomy enough to fit both hands while strolling the trails. This is a winner!

I love this hoodie. I was concerned it would be too hot, but it is perfectly comfortable. I bring it in all my trips. Also, it does the job of keeping bugs from biting my torso. Love it!

I was introduced to BugsAway by my sister in law who lives in Florida and is quite familiar with BUGS! I borrowed her shirt to go out at night, and ordered my own that night! This hoody fit true to size and has shape without clinging. Love it!

Love my first one so much, I've bought another. I live in bug country and they love to eat me. I haven't been bit once wearing this! It's a game changer. I love the mesh since it's breathable in the heat and humidity. I bought a 3rd xxs hoping it would fit my kid, but it's only a few knives smaller then the medium.

I purchased this hoodie for a trip to Belize, where I stayed in the jungle for two weeks. I was delighted with how light and comfortable this garment was, even on hot days with crushing humidity. Bugs always love me, but with this on, they loved me a lot less!

The bugsaways hoodies work perfectly for our yard. We have some mosquitoes and other small bugs that will not stay out of your face...unless you are wearing the hoodie. 3 years of wear from my first shirt and now I have replaced it and gotten others for my relatives.

Yes, this keeps bugs away but I love these as a casual extra layer for the weekend or outdoor use. Just right for gardening or a walk in the woods. I often pack one for the plane. Lightweight, stylish, and very comfy!

Comfy, lightweight, breathes very well, and does seem to keep bugs at bay for that area. Bugs will still go after other delicious body parts though so I do add bandanas.

I wore this hoodie during a mosquito outbreak at home, what a relief to slip it on to go outside! My old bug-proof shirt was hot and uncomfortable, this was quite airy. It worked well while kayak fishing on vacation too. I did have one fly bite thru it, but I was glad to not have to entirely soak myself in HD bug spray. Pretty warm that day and it was not too hot to wear it.

Wife loved it! Perfect weight for camping and repels monster mosquitos and biting no-see-ums.

Lightweight protection from mosquitoes and other flying insects. The hood protects my head and the long sleeves protect my wrists.

No chance to personally review this item as the Hoody was immediately snatched by my college-bound youngster. I guess this spells s-u-c-c-e-s-s at least in the "stylish" way :-)

I absolutely LOVE this top. Long sleeves, but very cool to wear even when it's warm. Nice loose coverage, stylish. I have the turquoise and the light pink. Two colors, and going back for more!

I bought 4 bugs away lumen hoodies 4 years ago for a hiking trip. They keep sun and bugs off my arms and the hood has come in handy for swarming gnats and those times I don't have my sun hat handy. I wear them almost everyday. People often asked if they are hot, but they are cool. They are also more comfy and easier than constantly applying sunscreen. I've had all 3 forms of skin cancer.

This is my favorite adventure shirt! I take it everywhere with me. It really does drive the bugs away. The only downside, is that it is not sun protection. I went down a size. I am 5'6, 140 lb, and I wear the small in this shirt.
