I ordered the gunmetal/orca color. I've owned dozens of size 13 EE wide new balance shoes. These 13 EE's were way too narrow to wear. They also were too short (maybe half a size too small - so order larger). I love the look of the shoe and huge fan of minimus, but I guess this version will not be wide enough for my feet. I have tried on the shoe in a store, but they did not have EE wides or the gunmetal/orca - - even so I tried on the yellow as well as black and they seemed to be more true to size; but still small.

I like them a lot. After buying 4 different pairs for women which I wore out, I confidently ordered my next pair only to find that NB had narrowed the toe box which did not work for me. I went to a local store and tried a men's pair which fit perfectly. The men's style was still the same. This year, I ordered the same shoe size but they were too small. Had to get the next size. I order an extra pair. I think it is reprehensible that companies find the need to change styles and sizes. I read recently that the newest version of this shoe for women has a higher heel!!Oh I am a woman who now finds it more reliable to order men shoes.

I was looking to replace my beloved pairs of New Balance Mx20V3. Previously, I wore a 10 (with possible room to spare). I tried these in 9.5 and were beyond constricting. 10 was still snug, so I opted for 10.5 and found it to be much better. Once the fit was established, the main negative I found was the top-edge of the shoe and tongue, which makes contact with the circumference of the ankle. Instead of the soft/malleable edge, it is a rolled and stitched edge, with the potential to tear up skin and induce blisters. This is easily avoidable if one opts for crew socks, but beware with no-show or shorter ankle socks. Overall, this shoe lives up to the New Balance Minimus line I am familiar with, just wish they could refine these a bit more.

They fit as expected for a size 8. Even though I got a Wide width they do not feel very wide. The rubber overlay across the front probably has something to do with that. They are pretty minimalist, which is nice.

Injured my foot. I purchased a pair that were a half size larger than my true size, based on other reviews. Still not enough. On shoe pinched at the widest part of my foot. I broke then in over a couple days, hoping it would stretch out. After my first 4-mile run, I was in pain, with a bruise at the top of my foot at the base of the fifth toe. I will never try a New Balance shoe again.

I have been wearing New Balance Minimus shoes since 2013 and the MT10V2 were my favorite pair. Once I wore them out (3 years later) I got the MX20v5 and soon noticed the decline in quality. The fabric began splitting and it split fast. After only 6 months the seam by the toe came apart and I contacted New Balance and complained about what happen. I was surprised to hear them tell me it was very unusual and its seemed like they were telling me it was my fault. Okay? After some more digging they gave me a $50 credit and I bought another pair. And again it split on me. I am not working out in these shoes and I am not doing rough activities it is just poor quality. So now I am switching brands after being a loyal New Balance customer for 5 years. I really hate it because these are the most comfortable shoes, but if I spend over a $100 I expect to get at least 1 to 2 years of use out of them.

I try this shoe for about one year. Because I love it and also because the shoe's industry seem to go back firmly to make more maximalist shoes, I ordered 3 more Minimus in case it become discontinued (NB, don't do that!). I love this shoes because they are very light, flexible, very sensitive and, even though they are trail shoes, they response great on many type of surface, including hard road surfaces, since the outsole isn't agressive (consequently less effective on mud however). I use it for the majority of my running session under 15 km.

I have worn these shoes for a decade bartending and serving. I won't wear anything else. They are amazing, comfortable, light weight and after a killer shift my feet still feel good. The moment New Balance ends these shoes, I will find it hard to replace. That's a hint New Balance, don't end these shoes ever.

Pros. Extremely comfortable. Good for everything: rock climbing, walking, hiking, badminton and work. Cons. They no longer have cool accent colors and are becoming difficult to find. Hope they are not being discontinued.

These shoes are fantastically light, durable, they grip so well you can hike all terrain climb and they fit snug. I bought my regular shoe size. Would recommend to all. My favorite part is that I can jump into any activity or sport any time and wear no socks without issue!

Not a normal shoe, so I understand how the others reviewer either love or despise this shoe, it is basically like wearing indestructible sock, you can feel the trail, so good for hiking, just hiked the Juan de Fuca in these but the best thing is they don't squash/bind your foot into uncomfortable positions, I have wide feet and this is basically the only shoe I can now wear comfortably, aside from flip flops. Only bad thing is I wanted to buy another pair, maybe two pairs, today and don't have my size in stock...scared if my current break I will no longer have shoes I can wear, I already had to marine glue the sole once on my current pair but all in all they are holding up very well.

Great fit, comfy, they breath, great ground feel.
Will fit you well if you have a reg width to slightly narrow foot.
If you've got a slightly wider than average foot go for the wide version.
If you've got a very wide foot they'll be narrow for you.
Generally most will do best by sizing up 1/2 a size from their regular running shoe sizeI did.
They fit just a bit short. Especially if you're second toe is the longer one and that's because they're shaped at the front similarly to Altras.

Shoe is extremely comfortable. I did have to order a half size larger. Normally wear 10.5 - went up half size. Overall, love the shoe. Wear it daily.

I wear these shoes for running, hiking, biking and just to get around everyday. They are so versatile. I have worn minimalist shoes for nearly 10 years and this is the third time I have purchased the minimus. They fit to size and have a nice wide toe box. The Minimus is by far my favorite shoes.
I refuse to get rid of my old ones so I kept them for mowing the lawn.

Based. Running from trail to street, to riding my bike. As long as nobody is stepping on your toes, these shoes are the bees knees in barefeet running shoes. Can't wait to take them for a swim.
