This jacket is everything they make it out to be. It is very thin and light, but it is just a rain jacket. This jacket is great in the rain however it is a lightweight piece so it is not very warm. Might be too tight to wear a sweatshirt under this jacket.

The Venture jacket is one of my favorite outdoor garments, and I have a lot of them. Extremely versatile, lightweight, easy to pack. It's great over an insulated layer and clothing in cold windy weather and as a rain jacket year round. Looks great too. I use if for both outdoor activities and casual wear I even wear it over my office clothing in wet or windy weather. I wouldn't; want to be without it and I hope TNF never discontinues it.

I love this it's the perfect lightweight rain and cool weather jacket. I love the color selection I went with cosmic blue and love it. I now own two of these and may get a third.

Got this jacket just in time for 3 days of rain to move through Chicago. Jacket is very comfortable to wear and kept me very dry. I'm 5'11", 173lbs, athletic build and a small fits just perfectly with room to breath and room for a sweatshirt underneath if needed. Medium was a bit too big for me.

I bought it after losing my regular North Face jacket (the stretchy kind). This is wind proof and waterproof. very much needed for the start of the rain season! Definitely recommending this to everyone! even my mom wants me to purchase her one!

I love this product and have used it 2 times already in a thunderstorm and in a light drizzle.

I was in need of a light weight rain shell for an upcoming adventure in the upcoming months. Its summer here I California so I just put it away for safe keeping. Well El Nino delivered un-expected two days of tropical down poor. I happily pulled out my new Venture jacket and went on with my day. While others were soaked to the bone I was nice and dry. The breathable fabric and pit zips kept me cool, while hiking even with the warmer weather. I was very happy with the features like the hood and hem cinches to batten down the hatches so to speak. Over all it was the right jacket at the right time;)

Love it

I wear this when out hiking and camping in the rain. Also wear it as a windbreaker or when its cool out. There isn't really any padding inside of the jacket, but it keeps you warm or is a great shell over another sweater or hoodie. It will feel slightly too big, but that is how it's supposed to fit.

Love this jacket. This is my second TNF jacket, and I've never been disappointed. They come in various colors and I really like the color that I got. This jacket will keep you dry and it's lightweight, so it's easy to pack and carry with you.
