Since I bike a few miles to work (and back) every day, I need something to keep me dry in the case of rain. I use this and some waterproof pants to cover my work clothes. Although I haven't taken it through any heavy rain yet, it's done the job with light rain so far while being breathable enough to keep me from getting too sweaty. It's also been great for hikes.

It is a little baggy in some areas, but it is great overall. It was a little thinner and lighter than I expected but it works extremely well at keeping you dry and protected.

I wanted something that was strictly a rain jacket. When it came I was worried that it seemed so thin and flimsy. It's not! I went to a fotball game and it rained the entire time and I didn't get wet at all. I went to the beach and it rained and I was hot so I iopened the vents and it was great. It is very versatile and I have worn it on cooler mornings and days when I think it might rain. Very compact. Great jacket.

I bought this for my 15 year old son for his birthday. He loves it. It seemed thin at first but after wearing it in the rain one day, he said this jacket is awesome. Now he wants a NF winter jacket for the colder temps coming. I guess I will be buying another one for Christmas.

I've used this every time the weather is looking gloomy and it's hasn't failed me yet. I can wake up in the morning before class and see the low over cast, and just pack it in my book bag without it taking up to much space. Then when it starts to rain or get a little chilly I take it out and it keeps me dry and is comfortable to wear. The zippers under the armpits allow for breathable air and I don't feel like I'm trapped in a sauna, even with it raining I maintain dry and comfortable. Definitely recommend getting this for the price it is, true life saver when it comes to rain.

I bought this for my grandson who is a competitive athlete, runner, biker and swimmer. He loves it, the fit is perfect and protects from the elements without being heavy.

I use it as a daily sweater and stylish coat

Living in Michigan, I needed a good jacket for rainy days. This is perfect because it's lightweight. I can wear it over another jacket on cold, rainy days or use it when it's warm because it's lightweight and has several vent holes. Perfect for hiking and casual wear on rainy days, and I plan to use it for biking and camping (since it's lightweight) soon.

Got this since I was moving to Seattle. Right when it arrived I got to use it that night as it rained. II got it in lime green and went to a MLS playoff game in Seattle so I fit in. Since i wear it almost everyday between walking/biking to work in the mornings. Or just hanging out. It is really warm for a rain jacket and i stayed completely dry! It is lightweight and stylish. I walked into a starbucks with it on and a barista complimented me immediately on my The Northface jacket. Highly recommend!

I purchased 5 of these jackets for our First Repsonder members and we all love the fit, the comfort and the warmth of this light weight jacket. It has numerous areas that fit to adjust to each persons comfort, in the hood, sleeves, waist, neck, etc! It is super light so I thought it could not be warm, but it is super warm but it also has zippers to allow air in, if needed. It also folds into its own pocket for easy storage! Would def buy this again, but shouldn't need to since it has a LIFETIME warranty for its original owner!

I wear this when it's rainy and windy which has been a good bit recently. Keeps me dry, and relatively warm.

I purchase my husband one and he loves it to. We live in Michigan so the weather changes week to week. You never know what you gonna get. It just rain recently the jacket was perfect. The wind was blowing heavy and they did not feel anything and the jackets was just dry as ever.
