use in the rain

Great all around rain jacket. The hood fits really well, doesn't fall off when the wind kicks up.

I bought this jacket because I needed something for cycling in the rain, and also for when I work my second job which requires me being outdoors in all weather. Within the first day of having my Venture jacket, the Wisconsin spring turned back to winter which it often does. I found myself wearing my jacket all last week, and it was windproof and waterproof. Even with a NF fleece and another hoodie on, it was comfortable. I love this jacket, just wish I had bought it sooner in the season!

I like this jacket's lightweight and convenience to stuff into its pocket. Great for travelling. Definitely windproof since I used if recently for sailing. It does not breath which is the only drawback.

While hiking or doing anything in that you'll sweat, you'll find that the interior will feel wet when you are moving because of your sweat. I had to take mine off multiple times during my hiking trip because the stickiness was bothering me. I recommend layering for strenuous activites. However, it is perfect for casual use.

Great, lightweight rain coat for summer rain conditions. Sleeves are a little long, but the velcro allows for shortening it.

I work on sets and the few days I've had this when it rained it was very useful!

I work in TV news in the North east and we are given work jackets by an other company and I won't wear it because it won't keep me dry that's why I use your product...I started using Northface when I had to go cover a hurricane and I had to get a new waterproof jacket...that jacket went thru a lot...I work in the elements, snow storms, hurricanes, light rain or freezing rain Northface does the job. I don't mind being cold, but I hate being wet. I beat my last jacket to death wore it every all 4 seasons...So when it was time to get a new one I knew right where to go...Northface.

This is a great jacket. Waterproof, windproof, lightweight, easily packable, etc. Wear it on the rainy days during the summer or throw some layers under it for the colder days.

Researched many competitors jackets, so glad I picked the Venture Jacket! Perfect fit, extremely light and comfortable. Fold up small into it's own pocket - I take this jacket with me everywhere!

I like it, my friends want it, it looks good feels good, and I've been wanting a real nice rain jacket so yes I recommend buying it.

I have several windbreakers from The North Face that I love, but the Venture is my newest & definitely my favorite now. It holds up great, it's just light enough to still wear during the spring/summer & perfect for when those spring showers surprise you. I can't leave home without it. If I could I would buy all of the colors right now.

The jacket is great. Only problem is the armpit area kind of digs into my armpit. Other than that, great jacket!

My 30 yr old son loves that NorthFace is offering the Tall fit. He is 6'3" and the regular NF has never fitted him, always too short Hope NF expands the tall fit into more of their jackets.
