The thing that is great on this jacket is it's light weight and modern style, it's water resistant and a good wind cover. The color selection is great, and it's comfortable. I cannot wait to test drive this in a tropical rain weather when we visit Hawaii. The price point is just right for a jacket that has all this features and style.

So hard to find waterproof gear that doesn't hold all the sweaty heat, until now!

I just purchased this jacket. I took it with me to leave in my Jeep whenever I need it. I went to my son's Lacrosse game. The temperature dropped 25 degrees, the wind picked up and it started to rain. I ran to the Jeep and got my jacket. It was the perfect answer to Cleveland's unpredictable Spring weather!

I took this new jacket to Ireland with me on my dream vacation. Little did I know it would rain every single day I was there, without this jacket my vacation would've been ruined! thank you Northface!

Really like this jacket! I am 5'9 /165 lbs, usually wears M from Northface, but this one I need to get a size S.

Most raincoats are not very breathable, you probably will get wet after wearing it a while. But it is definitely wind and rain proof.

Very nice for rain. I am returning it because i thought it would be for generally cold weather but it is light and suitable for rain.

Overall this jacket is great if you want a light, super packable shell with the reliabilitliy of gore-tex.
I haven't put it through the ringer yet, but the worst weather I've dealt with was about 4 hours of rain and aside from some minor saturation, the waterproofing held up.

One of the first things I wanted to purchase after my wife and I found out that we had new jobs and would be moving to Hawaii was a rain jacket. The climate on Oahu in the area where we will be living has a few days with wind and brief periods of rain each month so we went to the North Face store at Mall of America to try on some options. We spoke with one of the sales associates who recommended that I select rain jackets made with Gore-Tex because these would breath in the humid Pacific air. I am 6'3" with an average build and my new job will require me to be outdoors frequently throughout the day so fit is very important to me. After trying on a few, it was clear that the Dryzzle had all of the characteristics I was looking for: lightweight, quality construction, waterproof, breathable, windproof - and it is even available in several color options that will compliment my new Aloha spirit! We are still a few weeks away from our move but I can't wait to wear my North Face Dryzzle.

Great jacket and will definitely keep you dry. I'm 5'8 170lb with athletic build and like my jackets a lightly snug. The medium fits me perfectly.

My husband normally wears an XL, but I purchased this in L due to comments and it was tight across his back so I am returning. He is 5'10" and weighs 195lbs.

Had this jacket for less than a month. Noticed the seams holding draw strings around the waist and hood began to open a few days later both seams completely came apart. Went to the store to exchange the jacket but was told I had to mail it away to the warranty department for repair or replacement. Pretty disappointed in NorthFace for this one.

I love this jacket. Two days after it arrived, I had a chance to wear it as I took my 3 mile walk. It was raining steadily, and I returned home dry and comfortable.

I wear this jacket every time it rains on the Pacific North West coast. Good looking enough with almost all the perks. Could use more snaps and bigger velcro on the wrists .

Great price on a Gore-Tex "mountain jacket". Lightweight and easily pack-able protection for all sorts of trips. Cut is nicely fitted and not bulky feeling like some jackets. I would even term this garment as a mountain parka "light". Pit zips, hood fitting-cord, chest pocket, hand pockets, Velcro cuffs, bottom draw cord and a great collar area around the integral hood that closes tightly when you want - to keep out the wind. Superior in every respect, I may by a second one!!
T.N.F. does it again.

I needed to replace a rain jacket that I used for everything from work to weekends around town to hiking. That jacket was somewhere between a soft shell and a raincoat. The Dryzzle is first and foremost a rain jacket. We had super rainy weather in my town just after I received it and, oh my goodness, the jacket repelled water like nothing else. I only wish it was a slightly heavier weight and provided some warmth. The sizing is also more generous than expected but allows for layering. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Dryzzle.

I have an older version of this jacket and needed one more for work. It turns out the paclite gore-tex material in this model is quite a bit thicker compared to the old one. So it's a bit heavier and does not fold as compact as the one I have. For my purposes it's actually better, as it feels tougher and more durable. The cut is identical - roomy pockets (one of the main reasons I bought the first one), under-the-helmet size hood. Many gore-tex jackets come with over-the-helmet hoods for some reason, not very practical unless you are rock climbing or something.
It is very hard to find right gore-tex jackets for my purposes (commuting on a bike in the rain and working outdoors in the rain), I have spent a lot of time shopping around for something that works. I quite like this one. I bought two of these because they were on sale and I have the older lighter one for when I need it more packable. And gore-tex is the way to go if you spend a lot of time in the rain, I don't think other membranes work quite as well.
