Only downside of the jacket is the storm flap. I hoped more Velcro could be used to have a better seal. Everything else is what you expected from The North Face and Gore.

This jacket looks great with casual attire, but can easily transition to be worn with dress pants and a button down to a business meeting. Warm and versatile and perfect for New York's ever changing weather.

This is more of a casual wear jacket, will not I repeat will NOT hold up with the elements also would recommend wearing a water proof hat with this jacket because the hood will not hold in place and will come off even with light wind

Thinking that Gore-Tex was the way to go for a waterproof, light-weight jacket, I purchased this. It is far from waterproof. In a medium rainfall, within ten minutes the jacket gets fairly saturated and simply feels wet on the inside as others have noted in the reviews. I gave it two stars because it is a real nice jacket, just not as advertised with respect to being waterproof.

I wear a 2XL Tall in upper body gear and this product was a 3XL Regular. Conclusion: An outstanding product that will never fit me because am 6'4 280 lbs.

I've had the jacket for about 8 months, and worn in wind and rain. This new "Gore-tex Paclite" fabric is light and looks good, but doesn't seem to keep out rain very well. For example, when I walked in the rain for 10 minutes, the inside of the jacket would get very damp. This has been a problem since day 1, I have not washed the jacket etc. The seams don't seem to be the issue, water seeps through everywhere. My dad's 20-year-old gore-tex does a much better job! Gore-tex paclite seems to be a dud.

I've had this jacket for about a year and for medium to light rain it's perfect. Heavy rain brings a (condensation like wetness inside). I didn't have any issues with a light base layer underneath.

I compared many rain jackets on features, sizing and cut, and price before settling on the Drizzle. It's good in almost every way...except for the main zipper. It repeatedly gets stuck and becomes incredibly difficult to get started again. (And it's doubly disappointing that I have to pay to send in a jacket that clearly has a material or design flaw.)

Out in moderate rain. Water kept seeping through the back of the jacket as well as in the shoulders and chest. Would not recommend

Jacket material is made durable against wind and rain yet will keep you warm without it being bulky or heavy!! Easy to layer if you need extra warmth as the fit allows some extra room if need be. Absolutely great all around!!

I would not recommend this product or the sizing guide provided by NF. I own several products that fit true to size, this product misses the mark completely. The features listed on the website greatly conflict with that detailed on the actual item. I'll be returning the item and wouldn't recommend this purchase.

I have worn the jacket a few times. After being out in rain for more than a few minutes, the inside of the jacket gets noticeably wet. I wish I had read the other reviews here, save yourself the hassle of having to try and go through the warranty process.

I wore this while working in the rainy season of the South Pacific. The rain was heavy and lasted for weeks on end. This jacket was the only thing saving me from being miserable. I did not have the chance to wash it over the course of six months. It never failed me in spite of this. While the DWR did wear off, the gore-tex membrane did a good job of keeping my core dry. I found the arms tended to wet out, making for an uncomfortable experience. This was after heavy use, day after day. In short, the jacket exceeded my expectations.

I would have given this review 5 stars if it wasn't for the quality of the material the jacket was made of. Do not put keys or phones or anything of weight in the pockets as they can apparently tear pretty easily, as with my case (won't be covered under warranty either as it is considered normal wear and tear). Other than that little gripe, the jacket itself is a great windbreaker and has amazing waterproofing quality. I would take it hiking and backpacking often, and it provided enough protection from the elements while also having the breathability to keep me cool. I have also used it as a spring snowboarding jacket, which works pretty well in keeping me dry and cool throughout the day.

I bought the coat in November 2018, I used it a few times, but each time I got wet. I love TNF products but this product does not meet my expectations. I am very disappointed because all my other TNF products are perfect. I bought this coat for hicking because it is compact and lightweight, it is easy to store in a hiking bag. I wore it for hiking when there was drizzle or light rain and despite being Gore-Tex, I was wet underneath. At the time of writing this comment, I wore the coat in a light rain to get to my car to go to work, when I took off my coat I had the back all soaked.

Great lightweight jacket. I wish the zips were waterproof and the rain flaps on the pit zips should go the other way to protect the zips from rain when riding a bike. Other than that, it's a great jacket.

Received this coat just days prior to a vacation in Seattle. Perfect timing. Coat performed well keeping me dry and comfortable while out and about during a drizzly, damp Seattle day.

This Jacket is dope, I had trouble finding a good fit with most of the other models of rain wear, but this one fits real nice. Also it's such a dope look i'd wear it on a daily basis if it rained that much.
