I plan on using it to go snowboarding. I'm afraid with the no insulation that it may be too thin to wear consistently on the mountain.

Northface make the best product and offer excellent customer service.

I don't usually shop at The North Face, but after my latest purchase I have to reconsider. The jacket was so nice and well made. I was blew away at how innovative and simple the jacket was. Phenomenal.

Great jacket, I appreciate the lightweight of GoreTex and good color. The only thing I wish the jacket had, is an interior jacket.

Take care of this jacket ,twill care of you !! Once a year you might wash in low heat and regore tex !!

Looks great and my husband loves it. We haven't had a good rain yet to know if it's really waterproof or has issues like the other reviews state. So far the only negative has been that the main zipper doesn't connect good and it causes the zipper to get off track. He has to put it on very carefully. Size wise, my husband wears an XL in most shirts but his North Face jackets he does a Large as the XLs tend to swallow him. I believe it's because they're made to be worn over stuff so extra room is given to them.

Ever since I've received this jacket I've constantly been wearing it because it's super comfortable on the inside and super stylish. It definitely keeps you dry and by dry I mean DRY. It's GORETEX so it does the job. It is super lightweight so it fits really well in the backpack or luggage. It isn't meant to keep you warm, more so dry, so don't buy it if you're trying to stay warm! However, it does block off a lot of wind which is good :)

I wear it on my way to work everyday.

Bought one for my husband last year and he LOVED it so I bought one for our son who is an avid athlete and spends a lot of time outdoors in all weather! I'm hoping my family buys me one for Christmas!

Good product

I purchased this check in February 2019 and was excited to use it. This jacket can't even tolerate moderate rain in Southern California of all places. After 20 or 30 minutes I noticed significant amount of moisture on the shoulders back and arms. Then after that my day was done this jacket was soaked on the inside. So this entire jacket is a fail Now I have to take it to the store and see what they can do for me.

Use it for work on rainy days outside in CA. So far still dry

I bought this like third layer to drees it over my favorite summit l2 ventrix hoodie, no conplains I like it very much

Great for when its windy, I like to wear it every day

I bought it in early October 2019, to walk in the rain. And it didn't work out. I got wet on the outside and inside. It took a long time to dry. In the store, the only advice was, avoid the washing machine as much as possible. I wanted to walk in the rain, soft or strong. And I ended up wet inside and out. For the material, and for the brand, I hoped to keep myself totally dry. It was sad to see that I only bought a very expensive raincoat that doesn't work.

I assumed this would be a great jacket, given the gore tex material combined with stylish looks. I was wrong. A steady rain will seep right through the jacket within minutes. It's certainly not waterproof. I'd call it water resistant at best. It'll keep you from getting soaked when you're running from your car to your office, but don't plan on wearing it when you're actually outside in the rain for a good period of time.
