Ack! I really wanted to like these sandals! They are super super cute and the navy looks just like the picture. I have narrow, flat feet and am a pretty standard 8.5. I ordered the 8 and my toes were hanging off the ends! I ended up returning for a different Born sandal in size 9 which fit well (slightly too long, but OK.) The foot beds have a nice cushion to them and I don't mind the lack of arch support since I have flat feet. But I would recommend sizing up a size if you are a half-size.

Really like this sandal. I have a narrow foot and it still fits, but the rubber sole makes noises as I walk. Still debating whether to keep or return just because of the noise.

It's pretty cute! The strap can feel tight sometimes, I wonder how it will turn out as time goes on. The outsoles of the shoes feel stiff to me at the beginning even with the sandal cushion. However, after a couple of days, I guess my feet adjusted to it and I don't mind it anymore. In fact, they are pretty comfy!

These sandals are good for casual wear. My shoe size varies by brand, either an 8.5 or a 9, and these fit me well in size 9. They're comfortably squishy in the footbed and the leather straps are soft enough that I didn't get blisters with moderate initial wear (I blister easily). The elastic cross-straps over the middle of the foot are more snug than I'd like, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I suspect they'll stretch out a bit over time.

Cute and comfy sandals! I’m a 7.5 and 8 fit perfectly. However 1st pair I ordered, one of the back straps was a bit loose. Exchanged them and fit was much better. After a few wears the back straps loosen a bit, but sandal is still comfortable!

I wear a 9.5 and tried both the 9 and the 10. The 10 fit best, just a little loose in the heel, but very comfortable, so I will be keeping them. I wish there were half sizes!

Didn't love the elastic across the top of my foot. Ended up returning these.

This is a lovely, feminine style that complements the foot and ankle. I usually wear 6.5 but had to go up a size because my slightly-wider-than-average foot hurt at the front strap. I wouldn't buy these for comfort or all-day walking but they're great for work or casual events with a pretty skirt or dress.

Cute shoes. I’m not a fan of the elastic. It moves my foot around the shoe and is not flattering when not standing. It’s a good shoe for walking but I don’t like my foot slipping around.

Love this shoe for the comfort around my toes, top of foot, and heel. It doesn't offer much arch support and I don't think the footbed will give me enough comfort for miles of walking. Also the leather footbed was sticking to the ball of my foot just wearing them around my house. Maybe I have a sweaty enough foot that this style just won't work for me!

This sandal has nice cushioning but I felt the style was a bit boring.. something about the sole made it seem granny-ish.

These sandals are handsome and comfortable to wear and walk in. With many sandals, the heal strap is not sufficient to hold the heal in place while walking. So far, I do not find that to be a problem with these sandals. The straps are comfortable in general and complement the sandal nicely. That said, I would still rather have all of the straps made of leather or leather nubuck so that the whole upper sandal was made of matching leather straps. Otherwise, it is a very comfortable, attractive and practical sandal.

I found these sandals to be very comfortable and great for casual walking. I was very careful to only wear them for a couple hours at a time so I could break them in carefully. I find the cushion comfortable and the shoes don't slip off my feet. I find them to be a nice basic sandal that I can wear casually.

As much as I wanted to like this sandal, it simply didn't work for me. It "fit", but not like I prefer my footwear to be. Seemed a little on the short side. The straps also seemed a little snug, though that may have loosened up with wear. Of all the Born shoes/sandals I have owned, this has never been the case. I've learned not to second-guess the fit of shoes. I chose to return them.

Really cute, comfortable casual sandal but the sizing ran a little too long. I'm a 7.5 to an 8 usually but the 8 was too large. If you're a half size you may want to err on the smaller size.

I usually order 8 1/2 and the 8 was too small so had to exchange for a 9. I have a narrow foot and these are fine. Not as snug as I would like, am a little concerned how they will stretch over time....especially when walking long distances. I bought these to wear around France for 2 weeks. My husband doesn't like the fact that the strap on top is suede but the 2 below it are elastic and a slightly different color. My daughter (16) says they look fine. They aren't sexy but they should do the job. Will updated review if necessary.

The look of the shoe is really nice but the left sandal's fit was off for me! The heel strap was too loose fitting. So unfortunately I need to send it back.

Cute shoes but I will be returning them. I really like the light gold color and the fact that the elastic doesn't look like elastic is a nice touch. Sadly, they felt very flat when walking. The footbed itself is squashy but sort of deflates or drops when you take a step. The edge where the stitching is located also creates a pronounced ridge. None of that is horribly uncomfortable but I know it would bug me! I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 and bought a 10. These felt a bit roomy but not so much so that I would want to go down a size.

I got this in full grain. They're very comfortable. They do feel a little loose because of the elastic and they feel like they'll get even looser. However, I'd buy them again; if you're between sizes you may want to size down rather than up.

I ordered my usual size and they were so comfortable out of the box...............really like the color as I have several pair of "brown" and this is a nice change. They are light and very comfy on your foot and I think will be a good walking sandal.................so happy I ordered them ! I love Born shoes !

First of all, these are very comfortable for how cute and stylish they are. The gold really makes these match everything. Unfortunately it feels like the straps are a little loose and the length is about a half size larger than my usual 7 - there isn't even a 6.5 option so I'm stuck with these.

This shoe did not begin to cover my bunions. It was my fault for ordering this strapping style. Have to return.

These shoes are very comfortable, however, the left one feels bigger than the right one. Exchanging for another pair. Hope it works!

Elastic straps were convincingly covered and blended in with the shoe, but were too tight on my high instep. Unfortunately these are heading back to Zappos.
