I had debated about buying these sandals for a few days because in certain brands I am an 8 1/2 in sandals and there were no half sizes. I have been looking for a stylish sandal that was also comfortable since the beginning of the summer because I am on my feet most of the day. I finally found it with this sandal. The length was good in a size 8. My feet do not hang over in the front or the back. The sandal fit tight to my foot, but not in a bad way. The elastic bands kept my foot from sliding around in the sandal. I should mention that I have a narrow heal so I was concerned that the strap on the back of my foot would be an issue since it isn't adjustable, but it was not. After about 7 hours on my feet the first time I wore them, it felt that the strap on my left foot was starting to rub a little bit, but not to the point that I got a blister or anything. I think as I wear them the leather will stretch a little bit, so it won't rub at all. The foot bed was comfortable and the color is neutral, so it will go with anything. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. I just wish it hadn't taken me until the end of the summer to find them!

super comfy, can walk in them all day, flexible rubber thick sole and the straps are wide elastic so they easily stretch to conform to your foot and don't dig in. I have narrow feet and I finally have a pair of sandals that stay on my feet! They are a little 'mom' looking in my mind but modern enough to be trendy.

I bought the light tan color. The fit was just right for my feet, length and width. The leather straps are good quality, have a nice feel. The elastic straps are a bit off in color, but when you try them on, they are so comfy that the strap color issue is no more. The foot bed is leather (at least it feels like leather), with stitching to form the modest arch support. The sole is man-made with a slight rise for the heel, not slippery on smooth surfaces. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I loved these shoes so much I ordered another pair. They are so comfortable. The elastic band stays snug to my foot. I have also received several compliments on these sandals despite my size 11 feet. They make my feet look and feel beautiful.

This shoe is very good looking. I usually only buy Ecco or Munro shoes and these Born shoes do not have quite the same support but are extremely comfortable at a lower price point. Must add what a pleasure it is to deal with Zappos ... I wear a small size, which they always have in stock and their service is beyond compare!

I'm not keeping this shoe because it's a little too casual for what I needed. However, I'll admit - they are truly SO comfortable to wear! No adjustment time needed, wore these around the house as soon as I got them, and honestly forgot they were on my feet. Incredibly lightweight, and a nicely cushioned sole -- I could easily envision wearing these all day with no issues. The front strap didn't hurt my pinky toes at all, which have become pretty sensitive. I'm typically a size 7M and these were true to size for me.

I have trouble with short tight calf muscles and need to choose my summer shoes carefully. After lots of consideration, I picked this style from Born and couldn’t be more pleased. I love the metallic gold - it’s my favorite part of the shoe. It goes with everything, seriously. The sole is very comfortable and I’ve had no soreness or pain after wearing them for a long day. They are super easy to slip on and off. I’ve received several compliments on them. I wear them almost every day.

These shoes are so cute, and comfy as a pillow on your foot from the first time you put them on! The cross straps are elastic, the rest of them are buttery soft leather. This is my first pair of Born sandals and now I understand the hype.

These shoes are ridiculously comfortable. They feel as if you're walking on clouds thanks to the foot bed. I bought the navy and I know they are going to go perfectly with jeans this summer. Definitely worth the cost, go get them! As a side note, they are true to size as well.

The front strap crosses my toes too far forward. It crosses in front of my big toe joint, making it uncomfortable when I walk. Too bad. They're beautiful and the rest of the foot bed is soft, comfy and perfect.

These sandals are SO comfortable. I bought them for a vacation where I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. I wore them almost every day on the trip and I had no issues. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and remained comfortable the entire time. I'm very happy with this purchase!

These are very comfortable. I can wear these all day. I usually never want to take them off and wear them around the house when I get to moving around during the day. I have high arches, and the support felt moderate. It is on more of the causal side. The strakes in the right foot felt more loose than the other foot. But all in all, no complaints and would highly recommend.

I decided gold wouldn't be as useful to me, but in addition, without socks the elastic felt a little scratchy on my foot, so I am returning them.

I purchased these sandals based on the reviews written that said they were purchased for a trip then worn without any problems. So...I ordered them and packed them for a trip to Spain and wore them on day one. They were very comfortable but I did get a blister on each heel right above the footbed where the stitching is. We did a ton of walking and I did wear them again some other days. No issues where any of the straps were. I have a pair of Merrell sandals that I did the same thing with (wearing on a trip right out of the box) and had no issues. These sandals are very cute (I bought the gold ones) and overall I am happy with my purchase.

Lovely light, soft and supple sandal that holds the foot firm and safe. I like the metallic leather that will go with everything. And, I LOVE ZAPPOS!

Too bad the entire sandal is not all leather. Not as nice as it looks on line. Didn't fit my very high arches, doesn't come in wide, had to return.

I bought these sandals for a summer vacation to Italy. I wanted something reasonably stylish that I could also walk all day in, and these were perfect. I wore them every day for two weeks and some days walked upwards of 10 miles. I honestly feel like they were as comfortable as wearing sneakers, but they still looked cute with my sundresses. My only issue is that they were a little wide on me. I normally wear a size 9.5, and my feet are on the narrow side. I wore the 9 in these shoes, but I probably would have preferred a 10 if it weren't for the straps being loose. The elastic straps are great for easily getting the shoes on and off, but it does mean that you can't tighten the straps on narrow feet.

Love these! They are just a little dressier than other sandals, but still flat and super comfortable. Zero break in period. Looks so cute with my Lilly Pulitzer sundress! Love the gold! TTS, maybe just a little on the large size. I am between a 6 and a 6.5, and the 6 fits perfectly.

Super cute AND comfy! I bought these b/c I loved the gold metallic color, but bonus that they also feel like walking on a cloud. I wear Birkenstocks a lot and I thought those were the ultimate in comfort, but I like these more! No doubt they aren't super dressy for going out on the town, but they're perfect with shorts, jeans, or a casual summer dress. Love!

These are WONDERFUL sandals. My feet are 9 1/2 with narrow heel, and I was concerned that going with 10 might be too wide. The elastic straps fit perfectly and the shoes are easy to slip on and off. The tan suede matched the elastic strap well.

Super comfortable right out of the box, this sandal was dressy enough to wear with a summer sundress, and casual enough to wear with shorts. It was good for walking in the city, with easy on and off. Highly recommended!
