Have a narrow foot and wear trotter shoes. However, find the heel width too wide in recent purchases. Heel grippers do not compensate. Have returned last two purchases.

I wanted to love these shoes, they are well made, stylish, perfect heel height. They ran a little small and a 1/2 size larger wouldn't work because I have a narrow heel, so I have to return them.

This shoe runs small.

I have another style of Trotters and they fit perfectly. This style"Monatch" didn't fit. Too large overall but a beautiful shoe. May try the next size down because it's a beautiful shoe.

I have a narrow, long foot (10 AA) and typically get great fit with Trotters. This pair of Monarchs however feel almost like the shoe box. They are a very attractive shoe and the color (Blush Nubuck) will work perfectly with my wardrobe. I feel that if I can get a good fit with a different size, they will be quite comfortable. I am returning for a 1/2 size smaller. Even though the heel is quite loose, I hesitate to go AAA in width, so here's hoping.

I bought these shoes while on vacation from a local shoe store in Asheville NC. I was looking for some new shoes for work and the second I put these on, I was in love. I felt like the were formed for my feet. They were so comfortable that I walked out of the store in them. I would have given these shoes 5 stars but after only having them for 2 days, the outside material in the back was torn a bit. Now not even having them for a week, a similar tear happened to the toe area. I am not aggressive with my shoes. I noticed the first tear while I was driving back to Wisconsin and noticed the second tear while sitting at work. It's really disappointing because these were an expensive purchase on my current budget. I will most likely buy from this company again and hope that the next shoe won't tear so easily.

Needed it for support for my full time job. I'm 82+ and need a shoe that will give great support. Other Loafers I'e owned I've worn until that actually fell off my feet.

Had to return because of width. I wear an 8N and order likewise from Trotters. This shoe runs wide.

Perfect heel height, but after I received the shoes purchased for a funeral service I had no choice but to wear them. They were extremely uncomfortable and I even ordered a wide width.

i asked for a 10.5 wide. and they dont seem 10.5. They feel more like size 10. Not sure what I can do - they are bit tight at the toes.
