This is my second hat in this model. The mesh layer which covers the whole top of the hat keeps the head cool and allows any steam to escape. It's a great had for high output activities or wearing around town. It's easily the best hat I've ever owned, great design!

Hiking during the summer to keep the sun off my face and dry if it rains.

I saw lots of thru hikers with these. I had to try one. Glad I did. Love it.

Dries fast. Washes easy. Cool on the head. Perfect fit and brim size. Buckle and adjustment are easy to use, are not noticed while wearing. I have never had it loosen or had any issues with the fit. I wear it alone or over a buff and sometimes under a buff. Works great. Will not hold sweat like a trucker hat.

I own 2 of these hats and they're amazing for hot and humid summer months. I climb so I like to have a hat that I can pop off and wipe sweat from my face with when I'm on the wall. This hat is light and secure. It's tension strap on the back makes it easy to tighten down if the wind picks up. It also drys fast unlike an old school hat that soaks up sweat and stays wet all day. If I had to come up with a complaint it would be that the tension strap on the back is long. I have a big head and there's still a good amount left over. So every time I whip the hat on the strap smacks the back of my neck. It does tuck away but will often come back out. I wear the hat a lot and that's the only thing I can think of.

It is a great hat with a great fit and I never leave home without it. I can't add more than this hat has been a staple of mine for many years. I always have one in my pack. It also fit well under my climbing helmet; no too bulky.

Very lightweight and breathable.

I love this hat. It is lightweight, breathable, and fits on my head very comfortably. I like it's longer brim! I also like that the top is a 2 piece layer system--i imagine packing snow in there during a hot race. Plus I love that there is no Velcro to catch my hair.

Cool and light weight

I work on roofs alot in summer doing refrigeration use as work hat during the week and use to fish kayaks or jet boating rivers for smallmouth on weekends. I own 5 in different colors

I bought two, might buy another to keep in truck. Awesome high performance cap for running, mountaineering, hiking, etc. Best performance cap on the market.

I use it for everything. Hiking, hanging out etc.

This is my fave hat. I lost my first one and immediately ordered a replacement.

The Swift Cap fits great, easy to adjust. It's light and breathable, nice on a hot day.

I own an older version of this hat: velcro closure, soft brim, mesh and top section sewn together. They changed the closure, I can't say it's better but the hat still fits my unusually large head so it's fine. I am a little confused by the recent 1-size-fits-all trend at OR: 1 size does not fit all, why would it? Adjustment always required please. The brim is stiff and seems moldable now: nice improvement. One change that excited me, since I'm all about venting, is that the side mesh actually is part of a mesh cap that covers your head, separate from and under the top material that you see. In practice, I'm not sure that the top material will separate much from the mesh to allow venting, but a great idea anyway.

I always wear a hat and I'm pretty picky. This hat is light and breaths really well, I hardly notice that I'm wearing it. I just put in an order for another one of a different colour.

I use the cap for protection from the sun. And it breathes really well. This is my third cap.

This hat is fantastic. I own two of them and will probably by at least a third or fourth. Since purchasing these I've not worn any other cap. It is comfortable to a follicle challenged head. with the top and mesh insert separated it breathes very well. Perfect hat for hot and humid Alabama.
