This hat performed very well in breezy, sunny Southeast Alaska conditions (I know that's a rarity, but if you know, you know). Kept the sun out of my face and off my neck/shoulders while out on the water. No doubt it will stand up to our usual rain/drizzle nonsense we are typically blessed with. Worth it. Get one.

Great hat. Actually, this is my second Sunbriolet. I purchased one a few years back and wear it so often that I needed a another one for the times when the original one is being washed.

I wore this awesome hat to the Teotihuacan Pyramids outside of Mexico City. It worked exactly as I needed it to...keeping the sun off of my face, neck and shoulders. It also kept me cool even when the sun was beating down on me. During the rest of my trip, I was able to scrunch it up in my travel purse when I wasn't using it and it popped back out perfectly. This is a great hat...and Outdoor Research is my most favorite brand for all my outdoor needs!

This is the perfect sun hat. I live and hike out west so sun protection is really important. It's light weight, it pulls sweat away from my head and the brim is huge. Cool design detail that I would never have thought of is the chin strap cord is removable. Don't know how you could make a better sun hat.

Best quality sun hat I have ever purchased. Played golf in 96 degree heat and the hat kept me cool and safe from the sun.

I wore this hat river rafting and hiking last year and loved it. It's super lightweight and comfortable, the brim has enough stiffness to not flop down when wet, and the material is almost waterproof. I like it so much I've bought two as gifts in the last year!

Good sun protection, with plenty of coverage. I appreciate practical touches Ike the chin strap and hatband cinch just the thing for windy days.

this is the sort of hat you wear because you need it to work, and work it does. the interior is ultrabreathable mesh with multiple vents, there's an adjustable crown to ensure a good fit, the inner sweatband is soft and not itchy, and the brim is sturdy-- not too wide or narrow. the neck lanyard is removeable, which is a nice touch. i love it.

This hat is a light weight durable and looks really good. It protects you from the sun and it dries quickly.

By far one of the best fishing hats I have purchased. It is super light weight and has good adjustments to snug down to your head. It does handle great in the wind and won't blow off.

I had one of these hats before. Then misplaced it. The newer version of this hat is great. Excellent for wicking away sweat. And, of course, the coverage from the sun is great.

The ONLY reason I've bought 4 of these now is because of a sweat stain I can't remove from my gray color hats. I've tried chalk and other methods, but the dark sweat stain just won't go away (and I get hot and sweaty on my summer vacations). If not for that reason, I'd still be on my first hat because they last a long time, look good and do what they're supposed to do without making you look silly :). I'm trying the darker color this time (navy blue) to see if that helps hide any sweat stains.

This hat looks really nice, and almost formal. But I found that it is perfect for working in the sun.

I work at a golf course and am out in the sun all day. This hat keeps the sun off and keeps me cool due to its ventilation.

Not the coolest in my opinion, but the XL fits my big head and hair. It does its job protecting my face and neck. That's why you should buy it, but not if you are looking to be a fashion icon.

Bought the extra large in Pewter. Hat fits perfectly. I have been wearing if for about 2 months. We have lakefront property so I needed a brimmed hat to protect my head and ears. I wear it on the dock and in the water. It gets wet but dries quickly. Venting makes it comfortable to wear even when it is hot out. My head never fells hot while wearing it. SPF50+ is another plus for those of us who are folically challenged. Great hat. Thanks OR
