it came dirty, with dirt & dust along the holes on the side of the shoe and around all the stitching, adidas' quality has totally nosedived.

Wrong model and size sendme never happenings before.

I just went to the store to pick up my order. This is NOT a leather upper. It is a synthetic plastic feeling shoe. The people at the store and the woman at customer service number admit that ALL their shoes now are not leather. PLEASE don't say it is leather when it is not.

The tongue on this shoe is extra long and stiff and it cuts into where it meets my leg and makes it red and aggravated. The whole show feels like plastic. Why is the tongue so long? It's a weird design choice. I have another pair of Stan Smiths (traditional white with green back, and also my favorite shoe I've ever owned) and the tongue is a typical length and feel and doesn't hit my leg. I haven't been able to wear this new black pair yet because I'm trying to break in the tongue a bit so it doesn't hit & rub on my leg so hard. I currently have the tongues wrapped up and bent backwards with elastic. I really love the look of this shoe and want it to work but I don't think it will work, even after my attempt to flex the tongue a bit. I've thought about taking them to a shoe repair person to cut the tongue and stitch it up but do I want to put that much money into these shoes? Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and probably won't buy another pair of Stan Smiths online where I can't try them on in person.

I am a multi Stan smith purchaser and wearer for at least 15 years and I've always loved them for their quality and perfect look for every outfit and occasion. Over multiple pairs the quality has remained great until now. Unfortunately the quality has gone far downhill. These are totally different from the pair of Stan smiths I am replacing. I am so disappointed. I love my current pair but after 3-4 years the treads are about done. However the leather and cushioning are still in perfect condition. The new pair are not leather and are a hard, unbending synthetic material and there is almost zero padding on the heel or the tongue. They are also much wider than my prior pair. The quality and fit is not anywhere near what they used to be. I guess it's the end of an era- I'm no longer a Stan Smith die hard. I'm honestly so sad about this because I thought I would wear SS forever. DO BETTER ADIDAS!

This is very disappointing that they changed the material to synthetic leather. It is SUPER SQUEAKY.

I wouldn't know, they processed my exchange then cancelled it. I never got my order and don't know why.

I bought the Core Black Stan Smith because it specifically says in both the description AND details that the upper is made of leather. However, I just received my order and I noticed that it's not leather at all. The tags also shows that it's 100% synthetic. This is very disappointing, as I was holding off purchasing Stan Smiths for years because I did not want to buy the prime green line anymore (my old leather stan smith lasted longer than my prime green ones). This is false advertising, please do better.

I had these shoes years ago and absolutely loved them, so once they were worn out I bought them again. I didn't know they changed the materials used and I'm very disappointed in the quality. Super squeaky and not as comfortable either. I'll be returning immediately. Please bring back the old version.

Well design and affordable. I enjoy wearing them with my favorite blue jeans!!

Forget the "sustainable material". It's garbage. The shoes squeaked with every step I took. Please return to using genuine leather on the Sam Smith.

I have about 5 pairs of Stan Smith's, they are one of my favorite sneakers. This all white one though......it's horrible. I was really looking forward to getting an all white pair but these feel super cheap. They squeak when I walk - it's horrible. I have only worn them once and the second time I tried them again (months later) I was reminded why I don't wear them. They are comfortable and they look cute but this material is just cheap. Not recommended.

These are extremely uncomfortable and run very large for size.

I really liked the classic look of these shoes. But the toungue is too long, stiff and sticks out too high so it rubs against the front of my ankle. It's very uncomfortable.

The black Stan's with leopard are super cute, but the tongue stuck way out and rubbed the front part of my leg raw. Now every time I wear them the muscle is bruised. Disappointed

Fit is super odd. Wide, a bit sloppy, and the tongue is so tall that it digs into the front of your ankle.

Too stiff and run big.. 8 is a 9.. I would make sure you size down the comfort is very stiff. Cannot wear.

I love Stan Smith shoes. I didn't like this one : The color was too yellow and the "leather" felt too stiff : not at all as nice as the pair I bought last year.

Very large. I can't imagine how a shoe size can be so massively incorrect.

Sizing was off on the wife. Waay to large. Couldn't exchange due to out of stock size. Very disappointed.

i kept them in the box for a long time - i finally wore them recently and the fit is entirely different than the old stan smiths i used to buy !! these are way too wide and stiff for my foot - i mean really wide and too big ! wore them once so can't exchange -oh well !

Stop with the synthetic give consumer quality leather.

So disappointed with these. Have bought 2 other pairs of Stan Smiths before but these ones have an extra long tongue (2cm longer) that very uncomfortably dig into the front of the leg and look silly sticking up and out. The right foot shoelace was also shorter than on the left foot. Had to return.

The show that is vegan smells extremely bad. Horrible and allergic. Leather is better.

Description said these shoes were leather, which they weren't. If they were properly described, I never would have purchased them.
