Dansko's are hit or miss for me and unfortunately these were a miss. The foot bed texture is nice, however because I have flat feet, my arch squished over the edge too much making it uncomfortable to walk in. I've had over a half dozen Dansko shoes that I love! My original clogs, are over a decade old. More recent favorites are the Lucille bootie and the Paisley lace-up with Vibram soles.

Exactly what I was looking for! Leather is great neutral, yet dressy color and very soft. Heel height was perfect. The strap, buckle did not bother my ankle. Footbed was very comfortable and fit my foot very well. HOWEVER, this shoe was very wide for my narrow to medium foot. The criss-cross straps were very loose did not secure my foot. Buckle was on the tightest position and still had lots of foot flop. Really wish I could purchase this shoe in a narrow version. So disappointed to have to return this pair!!! It was all I was hoping for in this style of shoe.

These sandals are very cute and have good arch support - in fact they are exactly what I was looking for. Except for the sizing. In european sizing I normally wear a 38, but I often try a 37 in a sandal and usually that works just fine. However these run very large. I had to exchange the 37 for a 36, which I never wear. The 36 was almost perfect, but ultimately after wearing in the house for 5 minutes I decided they were just a teeny bit too short. So these did not work for me. I saw other reviews saying these run large and boy, do they!

I am so sad that I can't wear these. They are sooooooo cute. But sadly they are not made for wide feet. I normally wear a 40 in dansko, tried this on in 39, and could barely get my feet in them because the straps and sole are so narrow but they were still too long. Sad, I had high hopes for these.

The back is very rigid and too high making the shoe very uncomfortable. I have to return.

I ordered this shoe because I liked the style. The strap that goes around the ankle is loose and there is no way to tighten it. I am returning the shoes.

I've owned multiple pairs of Danskos over the years but recently have been really disappointed by their sandals. They never seem to be as wide as their other shoes are, even in identical sizes. I wear a size 40 in my other Danskos, ordered a 40 in these sandals, and couldn't even get my foot into them. They are really cute but I obviously had to return them.

I wanted to love these sandals, but, despite the fact that I have a number of Dansko's, the sizing on these are way off, so they are being returned. I'm a 7 1/2 in most shoes/sandals, and always a 38 in Dansko. I ordered the 38, and was swimming in them. I had also ordered the 37s, after reading other reviewers comments, and could barely get my foot in the sandal. The straps were extremely tight across the instep. So both pairs are in the box to go back to Zappo's. Not sure why Dansko (and some other shoe manufacturers) choose to make some shoes only in whole sizes. The half-sizing likely would have been a perfect choice for me. I'm sorry to see them go.

Overall the shoe was a poor fit. The straps around the ankle when cinched tighter than they were supposed to be still floated around my ankle. I have narrow ankles, so they might fit someone with a fuller foot better. The shoe felt wide and my heel floated around in the shoe.

I ordered my regular size 37 but it was loose and long in front. It narrows at the front so if I downsized my forth toe would not fit on foot bed.

these shoes run really big - I went a whole size down, and while the length is good, they are too loose fitting so have to go back! Great style, though...

I have worn Dansko shoes for years for the arch support. I was in DC this week so purchased this pair for walking the area. I wore them for less than 5 hours walking the DC area and the leather had stretched out, the color was coming off the leather and the velcro straps would not stay tight. I am returning these for a full refund. These are the poorest quality Dansko shoes I have ever purchased.

Cute shoe but even the smallest size is too big.

Wanted to love it but, as with other reviewers, this shoe runs extra big. I am consistently a Dansko 38 and I was convinced that this shoe was mismarked, until I read reviews. SAD.

I really wanted this shoe to work, I needed a dressy sandal in gray, but I don't know who they thought they were designing this shoe for because I don't think it's going to fit too many feet. My size is a dependable 7/37, Med width; my friends are all amazed I can order shoes online that fit but my feet are just so average. These things? They have a faux buckle and Velcro on one side and elastic on the other so you can't tighten the ankle strap. The back piece that's supposed to support the ankle is so tall it was almost impossible to get the shoe on. Then the ankle strap sits over the ankle bone, not the narrow part of the ankle just above the bone. The Velcro'd strap that comes over the top to the ankle just flops around because you can't tighten it and while the strap above the toes fit, the rest of the straps are loose. I can't write a review and give them no stars but I would if I could.
