I loved the look and feel of this shoe. I'm just really disappointed that there is only one point (the closure) to adjust the straps. I usually wear a solid 9 in all shoes, but had to go up a size in this shoe or it was too short. But when I went up a size for length, the straps were even more loose on the top of my foot and there is no way to adjust them. I'm very disappointed that Dansko didn't create a way to adjust the straps for a more narrow foot. Dansko does usually tend to run too wide and they don't do a good job of accommodating more narrow feet, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it seems like this would have been an easy shoe to engineer with a way to pull the straps tighter on both sides. If you do have a large or wide foot, this is a BEAUTIFUL shoe with that rare combination of comfort and looks. I really wish I could have kept it.

I like this shoe,but I am not fond of the color. Due to various foot problems, I am very hard to fit. These fit firmly on my feet ( nothing seems to dig in) and I could fit my dress orthotic in the back. I like the Velcro buckle. You can’t tell that it’s Velcro and it’s easy to get on and off.

A nice looking shoe.Good support and attractive. I am returning this shoe because the ankle strap cuts right across my ankle, and that is very uncomfortable. I don't know if it is my foot structure, or the shoe, but we don't match.

Good looking shoes. Dansko did not fail with their always good arch support. However, the back part was way out of my ankle. Cannot get it adjusted with the strap. Had to return.

Too wide straps were slipping around my foot and Velcro closure pops open. Nice looking shoe if it fits your foot.

Beautiful shoe until you notice the Velcro strap. I have been purchasing Dansko brand shoes for the past 12 years and have come to expect superior quality from them. Based on seeing the picture one would assume there is a leather strap with metal closure. However, the metal closure is just an illusion. The sandal actually has a Velcro closure underneath the metal strap. I have a wide foot and can always get a perfect fit with a Dansko size 38. Unfortunately this shoe was runs about 1/2 size larger than usual. I found that it was too loose on my wide foot and the back of the shoe rubbed my ankles.

Overall I like these shoes. I would agree with some other reviews, they do look a little orthopedic but they are extremely comfortable and very light. I walked in these for miles and felt great by the end of the day. They go very well with jeans but not so much with skirts and dresses.

Loved the style and look of this shoe. Unfortunately the wife was too narrow for me. I normally wear a size 7Wide and most Dansko shoes fit perfectly. I also didn't like that the strap was Velcro. The strap felt really cheap and not secure.

After reading the reviews on the Dansko Vivian, I thought it would would be comfortable for my bunions. Turns out that sole of the sandal is too narrow to support my feet comfortably so I am returning it. Other than the sole being too narrow, the sandals felt pretty good--soft/flexible straps.

Ordered in Pewter. the shoe appears to be constructed well, does not have much of slope so with proper fit would be nice shoe. I wear 6.5 or 7 wide and ordered size 37. Width was ok. The shoe was a little long and I considered re-ordering a smaller size. The problem I had with this shoe is that my short little toe stuck thru the straps. I don't think a smaller size would correct that issue.

Super cute, great color. Footbed is too long and the straps are too tight. These will have to go back.

These are beautiful shoes, very soft leather and fit true to size. I could not keep them because of bunion issues.

These have velcro with a faux buckle. That's not my preference at all, but I can imagine for some people, that's a real plus. What makes these shoes truly comfortable for me is the slight pitch created by the (low) heel. I have heel problems and can't wear truly flat shoes. These hit that perfect height between a flat and a true high heel. Dressy enough for dresses and skirts but not too dressy for jeans, so fully versatile. Worth noting that I purchased these in the graphite and the pewter. The pewter was a good bit looser - likely because of softer leather - so if you tend to be wider, the pewter might be better.

These are not my most comfortable pair of Dansko sandals, but they're alot more comfortable than I expected with the high piece of leather at the back, which doesn't bother my foot at all. Overall they are very good looking and comfortable for being on my feet all day at work.

If you have flat feet, these won't work. The middle of the shoe (where other people have an arch) is very narrow, so the bottom of my foot was sitting on the joint between the sole and the strap. Ouch. The shoe is really cute and the red-brown leather is gorgeous. Sad for me, but good for regular arched people. :-/

These are both comfortable and cute !! I ordered in pewter, did not love the color ,but thanks to Zappos easy return I exchanged them and love them in black . Was able to wear all day right out of the box ! True to size, well made , easy on with the Velcro "buckle".

Comfortable sandal. Nice heal height for dresses. Most Dansko's feel too wide for me. This one is wide, but close enough to make it work.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but I had blisters where the strap rubbed my ankle. The arch support was good and the heal height was perfect.

I ordered these a size smaller based on reviews and that was correct. Fit was great. Style was great. Returned because the straps hit my ankle bones in all the wrong places.

Very attractive style and very comfortable. I bought the black and the pewter so I'm fixed for summer. I like that I don't have to buckle them...the buckle is just for looks. It actually has Velcro under the strap. So easy to close.

Love this sandal. Beautiful leather and finish. Unfortunately, although I always wear a 37 in Dansko theses were too wide to wear.

I like that the strap is actually Velcro rather than a buckle. The way it covers the heal is flattering. Not as comfortable as I would expect from a Dansko in that the foot bed is very slanted rather than flat. Still a comfortable shoe and a great look. Very classic. The Ruby Vintage leather is gorgeous.

I'm really disappointed that these shoes don't fit. I have worn Danskos for years and they fit well, but this one feels larger than normal. Very cute shoe.

These shoes were cute, but too narrow so I had to send them back.
