I loved the look and the lightweight. I ordered up a half size based on reviews of other styles, and that was a good call. Problem with the shoe is that the insole pushed my foot inward, causing it to pronate (not something I typically have a problem with) and the tongue was short and stiff and jabbed into my leg when I walked. Sorry to have to return because I liked the way they looked.

These shoes fit great right out of the box! They are nice and light. I am glad I read previous reviews and ordered 1/2 a size larger than I normally wear, otherwise they would have been too small. The width was spot on too. I wear prescription orthotics and these shoes work awesome with them.

I wore the older version of these (Siren Sport II GoreTex) in wide for years. Wished they were still available. Don't care for newer version. Heel is at least 1/4" higher; sole isn't same configuration & not Vibram (as was older one); also just "waterproof" & not GTX; & more 'sneaker-like' than older shoe. It's also not a true wide. Very narrow. Pointier toe, too. Returned.

I needed a water-resistant shoe that would provide good arch support for working at a kids camp in early morning dew. After trying several, I found this Merrell sneaker. The arch is outstanding -- yet not so firm that it's not flexible. The heel does not slip. I ordered the Zappos suggested fit (1/2 size up from the size of flats I usually order) and it was spot on. The color is just like the photo -- a shade darker than Carolina blue with darker felt accents. The sole seems very 'grippy." I've never been disappointed with Merrell sneakers or outdoor shoes, and this pair promises to be no exception.

I love the color of these shoes. I have several pair of Merrell shoes and I always order a half size up. They were comfortable right out of the box and appear to be very well made.

I ordered these along with the Merrell Siren Edge, to see which would be more comfortable for me. The Siren Edge was the winner, as it fit the arch of my foot better, but these were great -- comfortable, solidly built, and nice-looking.

These shoes are wonderful. I can't wait to take them on my next adventure! They run very SMALL. I am normally a 7-1/2 to 8. After a few exchanges, size 9 finally fits perfect. Worth the small bit of back and forth.

Lovely shoe. Not so sure about the color, but the support in this shoe is really remarkable. Unfortunately, I have a weird tenitis/capsulitis (sp?) issue with my right foot, and it seemed to exacerbate it. It could be that the shoe was a bit too small, but I ended up with the North Face Hedgehog instead. However, I still think this shoe is REALLY good.

Nice shoe, but just a little too snug for my wide feet.

The color (crown blue) is more vivid in person. They are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is there is a small wrinkle in the top of the shoe that won't come out, hence the four stars instead of five.

As with previous reviews, I went up 1/2 size. Still too small. Will reorder in a size 9 and see what happens. For the most part, I loved the shoe except that it appears that it curves a bit to the outside. Does not sit straight on my foot.

I highly recommend ordering a full size bigger. I’m a 6 1/2 and my toes were against the front in the 7. Great shoe other than that. I ended up going with a high top.

I tried both an 8.5 and 9 in these shoes - I can usually fit into a 8.5 because of my narrow feet, but for hiking I'd like some more space. They are actually true to size - the 8.5 was too short, which was a pleasant surprise for once! The color (light teal/tan) was great - different to have a light color soul vs all the black that's the usual choice. The reason I couldn't use these was that they provided no support to me on the sides of the shoe. For a hiking shoe, you want some heft to keep your foot protected. Maybe the shoes were a little wide for me, but putting them on they just looked and felt saggy. Not good for what I wanted them for.

I usually wear a size 7M in Merrell's, and I've worn hiking shoes by Merrell for the past 5 years, so I was surprised to find this so tight in the toe box. Excellent construction but just not the right fit. Also, there are regular laces instead of the pull ones my other Merrell's came with.

Purchased shoe in June, kept in box until cooler weather. I have been wearing this shoe in the house, and noticed the ankle part of the shoe is wide, (not much support) which made my ankles roll inward. Sending them back.

I can understand that sizes run a little different from brand to brand, however within the same brand I think the sizing should be consistent. I ordered 2 pairs of Merrells waterproof. This style (I ordered an 8 1/2) was the same length as the 8's in the style I kept - I put them up against each other sole to sole to check. This style also ran much more narrow than the one I kept as well.

Very narrow with pointed toe box. Lightweight and good looking but not for wide feet with high arch. Returned.

I ordered these a half-size up, as previous reviews indicated they ran a bit small, but that didn't cut it. They actually fit my larger foot well, but were mysitfyingly tight on my left foot, which is a half size SMALLER than my right foot. The labels said they were both size 9, so either there's something wrong with the shoe, or my left foot is undergoing some kind of late-in-life growth spurt. In any case, I will be returning, and maybe just going to a brick and mortar store so I can try things on.

I was looking for a shoe to replace the Merrell Siren Sport 2 Waterproof that I've had for eight years (several pairs). I ordered the same size I had in those. The Q2 fit ok in the length but was a pretty big shoe, possibly because it doesn't have as much padding as the old version. I had to pull the laces very tight, and you could tell that the shoes were too big. I have fairly narrow feet, but the Siren Sport 2 fit great. The sole on this version was also a bit thinner than I'm used to from Merrell. Overall, I wasn't very happy with the shoes and returned them in favor of the Merrell Siren Edge Waterproof.

I’m a true 6, which means I’ve never bought anything larger than 6. Occasionally I may even go down to 5.5 or big kids 4. I always buy 6 in Merrell. However, this time I find 6 to be snug without any room to spare. I even debate about getting 6.5 to try, but I don’t have time for exchange as I’m leaving tomorrow leaving for an extended trip abroad. Ultimately I’m not sure if 6.5 will fit or not. As one other customer said, I find my feet being pushed forward when I walk, which never happened to me.
