Toe box is too small. I have several pair of Merrill Encore and they have more space in the toe box. I have bunions on both feet. Disappointed that I can't wear the Merrill sneaker.

I've worn a lot of Merrells, always an 8. Totally needed the 8.5 in this style. Love the style, but the Moab 2 and the Sport Hex felt better on my feet. Regretfully returning both sizes that I ordered.

Shoes run about a size to half a size small. There was also not a lot of arch support.

Runs very small. I'm a size 10.5 or 11 for all other hiking boots and the size 11 was much too small. Unfortunately they don't offer it in 11.5 or 12.

These the arch were too far back in the foot and you could feel the tread of the shoe on your foot while you walked around the house. There were terrible and I cannot imagine walking on a trail with rocks and toots with these on, you would feel them all on your feet.

With them being too small, I'm noir sure how good the arch support was. They also looked very wide on my foot. They didn't feel wide but made my for look much wider. Pretty color though.

This is a very strange fitting shoe. There is a lump running along the outside edge that pronates your feet. I even tried the orthodic insole I use for hiking and it did the same.

Not even water-repellant. After only a handful of wears (at about 2 hours per wear), they were as waterproof as wearing just socks. I got them to wear while walking the dog in a grassy park to keep my feet dry from the dew. After walking 50 feet in dewy grass, they are soaking wet to the point that water squirts out of them like a squeezed sponge with each step.

I have worn Merrell Sports for decades, regular and waterproof. The last fits my foot perfectly. HOWEVER - Merrell has changed the composition of the sole on the waterproof version. It is harder, has no 'give', and actually caused me to develop plantar fascitis on my right foot! I am NOT a heavy heel striker and keep my weight over my arches so it is not my stride that is causing the problem. This shoe sends the surface impact right up into your heels. The pain disappears when I switch to the regular summer version. Unfortunate. Merrell, please switch back to the older sole composition on this shoe!
