Good fit on my feet and comfy to walk in. The soles were a bit more stiff than I was looking for walking shoes, but they would probably be great on a trail. The soles are pretty rugged and the overall look is a bit drab.

Love them but going with the Keen’s since their toe box is roomier.

This shoe is very comfortable and fits exactly true to size. It looks great on too.

This is my 4th per of Moab Ventilators. Obviously love the comfort and support. Some of the new changes are not so good. The Moab 2 insole is too hard and high profile, I preferred the old style softer foam. And I do wish they would lose about 2 inches off the fat tongue, so it doesn't stick up so much. It would make a great shoe fabulous.

I've been wearing them to go birding in SW Idaho. My first pair I wore every time I was out looking for birds, hiking, and biking. This second pair is a little too wide and I ordered a 7 because I think the reviews said to order a 1/2 size up. I wish I hadn't done that because they are a tad loose. I did order DarnTough midweight merino wool sox and that seems to help with a snugger fit. The shoes are very comfortable otherwise.

They are lightweight, comfortable at first, nice arch support, did work well on a hike.
I give it 3.5 stars tho because they were comfortable, but in the middle of my hike the ball of my feet started hurting/blistering could barely walk when i got home and still the next day, Like there was a lot of rubbing on my ball of feet when doing downhill, Ive never had that problem with my Columbia Newtown ridge hiking boots. maybe i need to get socks that are anti-friction/anti-blistering....??? any ideas. Its too bad that happened because they were comfortable, breathable, lightweight, my husband loves them and he recommended I get some. I wish i had a picture :/

Only worn them a few times so far, but they're living up to expectations. I'll see how they are after some more rigorous use.

I like these, and they fit OK in the toe box, which is my biggest challenge. However, they do seem to be slipping around the heel. That's a recipe for blisters and all kinds of other problems if you're hiking any distance. Back they go.

A very comfortable, durable but light weight hiking shoe. I am normally a 10 but they did not fit so I returned them for a 10 1/2. Toebox appears narrow and long but feels great! The sole has a great grip for all kinds of steep, rocky terrain.

I bought another color but they were not as wide as this pair. ? Maybe due to the new type of Moab? I do enjoy this color for the summer. The shoes have always been great in the arch. Good for walking or hiking. Now, I have to snug the laces tighter for the best support. Still a comfy shoe, especially in the arch.

I have had other Moab types but this is the second generation and I don't prefer them over the original. They are too wide after wearing them for a short amount of time. Also, a half size too large. I have always liked the arch support they give and their fair appearance. I recommend wearing them around the house awhile to check out the fit. Great for walking or hiking. I just have to tightened up the shoe laces. Sad to see the previous Moab go extinct!

I love these boots. I think they could be just a tad stiffer but the good news...you don't have to break them in.

Finally a right shoe for my feet! I've been wearing regular width shoe to hike for a long time even when I knew I have a wider feet that needed more room than what has provided. Obviously at the end of most hike-trip I was complaining of how uncomfortable they were. Now that I got it in wide width, its like I can feel my feet loving me crazy, haha! Anyway just happy with my purchased.

I love the wide width Merrells. I'm very happy with both pair of shoes I've bought this year: the Siren and this Moab 2. My only problem is the laces on the Moab- they are round and come undone no matter what how tight i tie them. this is a major inconvenience when out walking. that is why i only give the shoe a 4 star. otherwise it is perfect!

The shoelace "sucks" they do not stay tied. The reason for 4 stars I stead of 5. The shoe lace are Round no matter how many double knots you due they come untied in a 2 hour hike they came untied 5x. The shoe is terrific

My husband must have ten pairs of Merrill boots and shoes. He kept encouraging me to try a pair, so I was excited to order my Moabs 2's. The footbed is hard, and they feel clunky and heavy on my 6.5 size foot. The longer I wear, the better they feel, but I'm just not in love. Sorry Moab, we may need to see others boots. I'm sure you will hang around for years, but I'm already planning to toss you to the back of my closet. I just wish I had returned, and started over.
Yours Truly,

The shoe is very well made, but I learned that I needed a wide, which I'm very sorry was not available at Zappo's.

The width of the shoe fits perfectly, however, the length for a size 8 shoe feels a little long. Not enough to return. They look great, can't wait totake long hike.

The shoe was very comfortable, loved the color. Unfortunately ran 1/2 size to large. Returning for a smaller size.

I bought these as an option for shorter local hikes after having fantastic luck with the Moab 2 waterproof hikers. This shoe is very durable with great tread. I did find the fit to be a bit different, having very obvious arch support, and wondered if maybe I should have purchased a size smaller since the support seemed to hit my arch in an awkward way. There was no way to know these would fit differently than the other hikers I've been wearing.

I am just now getting to try these for an extended period around the house. They almost seemed too wide, but they are hurting my feet after about 3 hours of wear, and not a lot of walking. So sadly I have to return them. They are a very nice looking shoe, but I think the design hits a problem area I have on my foot.
