The shoe is great however it has a very strong odor on the inside which is very off-putting.

Loved the shoe except the heel was too large and rubbed on my foot when I walked. Otherwise quality shoe with good padding and arch support.

These are my favorite shoes, they fit right out of the box and stay comfortable. Only complaint is the inside heel wears out long before the rest of the shoe. I have used moleskin on the inside holes to make them last longer.

We walk our dog most days. Sometimes we go on trails, sometimes we walk in the neighborhood. These shoes have the support I need.

Overall, these fit well and are good on the trail. I had worn low Saucony suede walkers for years, but they no longer make them so I had to find an alternative. These Merrell's are almost as good. I feel a bit "tippy" in them from the lack of ankle support (though I bought low rise on purpose), there just isn't a lot of "give" in these. As I break them in I feel more confident that I won't twist my ankle.

I ordered the wide and when I tried it on I clearly did not need a wide boot. They felt clunky and looked clunky, lol. Just not for me.

I changed the insoles because the little pin holes in the ball of the foot area was irritating.

Best trail shoe for wide feet I have ever found, but heels wear out--should be reinforced stronger

I'm a size 8.5 wide but tried the Moab 2 Vent size 9, since some reviews mentioned it running small. The 9 was almost OK but a bit large - the 8.5 fit perfectly. This is is contrast to the Moab 2 Waterproof which DID run small - the Moab 2 Waterproof 9 wide was a perfect fit, although perhaps a bit narrower than the Moab 2 Vent 8.5 wide.

Very durable, substantial shoe. Some arch support however, I have to use my own orthotics which the shoes accommodate no problem. I get compliments on how they look all the time. These are my urban hikers.

The thick padding around the collar seems to be pushing my foot forward so that the arch support is not in the right place and uncomfortable. I took the insole out and it fits perfectly to my arch when not in the shoe. I love the way these look and wish I could keep them but also have realized that I accidentally ordered the version that is not waterproof. So I'm returning them and trying some other options.

I have a very narrow foot. The shoe was way too big all around. It is comfortable and very well constructer shoe. The shoe is heavier than others and has a bulky look. Strictly a trail shoe not for fashion off trail. Good support. If you have a wide foot or need to have room for hammer toes this would be a good shoe for you. Lots of room in the toe box.

The shoes are comfortable. I walk more than a hundred miles a month and they are comfortable. The only thing that would make these shoes better is if the soles would last longer. I only get 300-400 miles out of the soles...

I have enjoyed these heavy duty shoes when walking in nature. They are comfortable and roomy enough for thick socks. They provide stability on uneven pathways. The only negative for me is that they are heavier than I anticipated; therefore, I would not want to pack them for travel or wear them on an airplane.

These are very nice for pleasant conditions, which means I trashed mine in no time flat because I was stomping around in the woods in prolonged wet weather. I finally got a pair of Merrell Kiruna Mid Zips, which have been fabulous in deep mud and and for snowshoeing and still look brand new even after months of heavy use. So I'll keep the Moab 2 for when a sneaker isn't quite enough, but stop there.

Very comfortable shoe with good arch support. Unfortunately when I walked my feet slid forward and my toes would hit the front of the shoe and felt crunched. I’m not sure if a larger shoe would solve the problem. I returned the shoe.

Great to find a woman's wide hiker, but I could feel too much of the rocky trail for comfort. Improved a lot after I inserted a well padded insole.

I had great heel support but actually felt like there was nothing betweeen the bottom of my foot under my arch and my toes. Kind of like a hollow feeling.

Overall these seem like a good hiking shoe, but they don't work for my feet. The toe grab in the footbed fits too short. I tried a half size bigger, but that has the same problem plus it slips off the back of my heal. I'm going back to my Merrell flex.

Good fit on my feet and comfy to walk in. The soles were a bit more stiff than I was looking for walking shoes, but they would probably be great on a trail. The soles are pretty rugged and the overall look is a bit drab.

Love them but going with the Keen’s since their toe box is roomier.
