Merrell is my preferred trail walking shoe. My last pair worked so well, I decided to order online without trying first. They fit out of the box. No rubbing or discomfort anywhere. As before I ordered a half size larger mainly because I like to wear heavy socks with them although I think my normal size 9 would have worked as well. Arch support is excellent and that is important for me. Smoke blue is great choice.

Great shoe. Comfortable, true to size. Decided to keep two pairs of Merrells because I couldn't make up my mind on which pair was more comfortable. Thanks ZAPPOS for being patient with me.

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever owned! I purchased the wide width, leaves me plenty of room in the toe box, even with socks! I have a pair of Moab Ventilators, but the new Moab 2 sports even more support and comfort than my old pair.I have been wearing them as an everyday shoe since I took them out of the box. Looking forward to many hikes this Summer in pure comfort! Thanks Merrell, for an awesome shoe!

I had foot surgery last year and was looking for a comfortable, yet supportive, shoe. My husband has several pairs of Merrell's and suggested I look into getting a pair. These are the most comfortable shoe I've worn in a long time. I highly recommend them and will be buying Merrell shoes from now on.

I suffer from severe plantar faciitis, and I need to wear orthotics in all my shoes. Some reviews people are saying how much the Moab's hurt their feet. They do have a little higher arch insole so if you are flat footed then yes, they would make your feet sore. These are great shoes and are stiffer then a tennis shoe which is what I need. One shoe can not fit the masses, inserts are great and glad that Moabs can be removed so I can use my orthotics.

Great for walking/hiking on granite boulders. Added a soft insole for a little extra comfort.

The fit is a bit too big, but with the proper socks it's alright. I find that the right shoe makes my foot curl under a bit, and after a couple of hours my feet start to hurt. I've had these shoes for quite some time and I try to wear them when I can.

The arch support felt so good but unfortunately because of my foot shape the arch hit me in the wrong part of my foot and eventually these became too painful to wear. Super disappointed I have to return them

Comfortable hiking shoes. Roomy enough to wear a thicker sock, while still leaving space for toes to move. Not overly heavy, even in the size wide I wear. Great on rocky paths where you don’t need boots.

The shoes are really comfortable, even with arthritis in my toes. My feet never hurt after walking hours and hours, miles and miles on uneven rocky terrain.
The only thing I didn't like is I should've bought waterproof and I didn't like how puffy they looked around the ankles. However the padding kept my feet feeling amazing.

Well made nice looking hiker. A bit heavier than my sneaks and after a few days of walks were comfy. Nice toe space too.

These are comfortable shoes, mainly because they seem wider than average. The sole is well constructed. However, for me this pair did require breaking in with two hikes before they felt like a good fit, and I had to add an insole due to a problem I have with one foot. The shoe laces are that peculiar kind that come undone if you don't double-knot them.

Have just worn them to the grocery store but these Merrells are just as comfortable as all the ones I have bought in the past. I did buy my usual size 9 and they did seem a bit loose but that could have been because I was wearing thin socks. Love Merrell shoes.

I've worn Merrells for years and loved how it specifically addressed the way a woman strides. I usually purchased Sirens because of the rolling support through the arches. This time I tried Moab because it offered a wide in my size.
It fit well and I didn't have to break them in at all. Very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because I don't prefer the thick tongue and heave look of its styling. None-the-less, it's an excellent walking shoe, I will only purchase wides in future. Thanks for offering them Merrell!

These shoes are very comfortable and wide enough for my feet even though they are not wide width.

The Moab Ventilators are my go-to walk-the-dog in the woods shoes. Toe protection makes them a good trail shoes. I added a cushier inner sole which helps. I wear them out every few months and replace them with a new pair. Glad Merrell keeps them in their line. Not perfect but better than most for my use. Perfect fit for me would be a teensy bit longer and a teensy bit narrower shoe. And a slightly cushier inner sole.

They are wider than the previous Accentors. Almost seem like wide width. They seem comfortable, haven't worn them yet. Will need to get used to the wider width.

Very sturdy and comfortable, however, they are heavy. This could be advantageous if you want to burn more calories when you are hiking.

I bought this Moab shoe for work @ the post office. It is the best shoe for me being on my feet most of the day. I own 2 pair of Merrill shoes for work. I switch every day to help with lasting effects

Lightweight and comfortable. I have only worn them twice but so far so good. Not too many hiking shoes come in wide sizes and I am glad I found these. Now I wish they come in a version with Gore tex for the wet weather hikes.

The shoes are much more drab than depicted in these photos. The all of his gray and there is no contrast. The purple laces don't really show up as well. I wish they would have made a photograph that was more in line with what the shoes actually looked like. It's not unique to the olive shoes it is also with the boots as well! Please stop doing this when you advertise your shoes.

I really love these shoes to the extent that I have brought 3 pairs! I find out of the box wonderful, but as the season progresses, the soles become "thinner" and I can feel every rock on the walks I take. So they become my go to for "city walking" on pavement. I wish the soles were better for long term.
