Comfortable. Looking forward to wearing this during our NW rainy days, walking my dogs and running errands.

Have been wearing Merrell for quite a few years: jungle moc, and various sandals. I tried hikers and other walking shoes, but they were all too narrow. Glad I found that Merrell carried wide widths. I now have arthritis in my right foot toe joints and need something wider, but still have a narrow heel. Wore these right away hiking in Colorado and never had any problems. I'm hoping to try sojourn ballet next, since I'd like something a little dressier, but need support. Hopefully the stretchiness of the sojourn will work for a wide foot.

The Moab Vent is by far the most comfortable hiking shoe I have ever worn. I keep a minimum of two pair (street & trail) at all times. Feeling the breeze through the mesh while ascending a steep trail is awesome.
My hiking buddies can't wait to get their shoes/boots off once we get to camp. It doesn't even cross my mind! If it wasn't for rainy days & muddy trails, I wouldn't even pack camp shoes.

I've historically avoided Merrell shoes because they are too narrow for my feet, but after having repeated poor experiences with Keen shoes, I decided to give Merrell's wide versions a try. Happily, they fit my wide feet perfectly! They are a little stiff but nothing a few days of wear won't cure. It is great to know I have other options for footwear and I have gotten a lot of compliments at work on them as well.

I've got short, wide feet and it's tough to find the right fit. This is the second pair of Moab 2 Ventilators I've owned and I'm not disappointed. I like the soft, cushiony feel and the way the shoe conforms to the heel of my foot. Good color!

I love this hiking shoe. I have wide feet and a wide toe box, and have a hard time finding shoes period. I needed a sturdy hiking book to take camping and hiking. This is it! These boots are super comfortable, stylish, and fit my feet.

These felt definitely like a hiking boot more than an athletic/hiking shoe to me, and a little heavy, so I'm returning. The color combo is outstanding.

I usually take a "WIDE" hiking shoe, so when ordering these I took a chance. While i was putting them on i was crossing my fingers because i really liked the design of these hiking shoes. The fit for the heel is awesome and they are roomier in the front so all was great. LOVE the padding and the support as compared to a mess lining which wears very easily!!! Hopefully these will last for a LONG TIME!!! Thanks for the quality..

I previously purchased Moab 2 waterproof wide width and decided to order Moab 2 ventilator wide width. It has great arch support and the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Even though I wear socks, it didn't hurt my bunions. I highly recommend this. Thanks Merrell!!

I have worn the moab for years, and decided to buy the wider size. Wider means slightly longer for toes, which is helpful. Orthotics fit in well.

Merrell is my preferred trail walking shoe. My last pair worked so well, I decided to order online without trying first. They fit out of the box. No rubbing or discomfort anywhere. As before I ordered a half size larger mainly because I like to wear heavy socks with them although I think my normal size 9 would have worked as well. Arch support is excellent and that is important for me. Smoke blue is great choice.

Great shoe. Comfortable, true to size. Decided to keep two pairs of Merrells because I couldn't make up my mind on which pair was more comfortable. Thanks ZAPPOS for being patient with me.

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever owned! I purchased the wide width, leaves me plenty of room in the toe box, even with socks! I have a pair of Moab Ventilators, but the new Moab 2 sports even more support and comfort than my old pair.I have been wearing them as an everyday shoe since I took them out of the box. Looking forward to many hikes this Summer in pure comfort! Thanks Merrell, for an awesome shoe!

I had foot surgery last year and was looking for a comfortable, yet supportive, shoe. My husband has several pairs of Merrell's and suggested I look into getting a pair. These are the most comfortable shoe I've worn in a long time. I highly recommend them and will be buying Merrell shoes from now on.

I suffer from severe plantar faciitis, and I need to wear orthotics in all my shoes. Some reviews people are saying how much the Moab's hurt their feet. They do have a little higher arch insole so if you are flat footed then yes, they would make your feet sore. These are great shoes and are stiffer then a tennis shoe which is what I need. One shoe can not fit the masses, inserts are great and glad that Moabs can be removed so I can use my orthotics.

The fit is a bit too big, but with the proper socks it's alright. I find that the right shoe makes my foot curl under a bit, and after a couple of hours my feet start to hurt. I've had these shoes for quite some time and I try to wear them when I can.

The arch support felt so good but unfortunately because of my foot shape the arch hit me in the wrong part of my foot and eventually these became too painful to wear. Super disappointed I have to return them
