Ordered this shoe in an 8. Wore them yesterday in the house and out in the yard. Very comfortable. I have a pair of mid-height hiking shoes but prefer this style. We will do some hiking in Glacier National Park next month and I'll update this review.

Oh my goodness! From the first moment I put these on I thought I had finally found foot heaven. My toes sighed, then my "no-arch flat feet" sighed. The foot bed was perfect and I didn't even need to put in my orthotic. I wanted to cry. I have such a hard time finding shoes. As doctors are known to tell me "did you know you have very flat feet"? These flat feet (plantar fasciitis) , in addition to arthritis (I've already had implants put in my big toes) have caused me a bit of grief which has lead to PTTD - Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. If I don't wear the right shoes, the PTTD flairs up more than ever. Someone had given me a pair of old hiking shoes a couple of months ago and I feel in love with them (a different brand) because they gave me the stability I needed for PF & PTTD. Since then I've been on the hunt for another pair (the original is obsolete). I looked at reviews and decided to take a chance with the Merrell Moab 2 Vent. I actually hesitate because I've never found a pair of Merrell's to feel good on my feet but these are wonderful - After putting them on, I went out for a one mile walk with my dogs. My feet rejoiced.

Great shoe! This was my fifth pair. Unfortunately I have my Mother's feet, but find my Protalus insoles fit perfectly which saves my feet. Toe room great. Wide at 'ball' of the foot to accommodate bunions. Praying they keep this fine model of shoe in the Merrill line.

Can’t beat Merrill hiking shoes, they’re the best. This style was new for me, I have a high arch and slight inversion, so they feel wonderful, keep my feet in good position and never needed breaking in. I ordered the normal size I always wear and they’re perfect. Love them!

Very comfortable

I love them! I have 2 pair now but I used to have 3..one for work which are these black and aqua merrells and a pair of light brown merrells for hiking! I am a very particular shoe person because I have 2 big toes on each foot that stick up so it’s very hard finding shoes that don’t hurt my toes!! I recommend these for women and also men! My husband and I wear the same size shoe so I gave him my third pair and he loves them for his 3 mile walks in the morning! These shoes are not only quite attractive, but Very comfortable. They give such good support, that I am already experiencing less pain in my knees and lower back! I recommend these shoes!

This is my third pair of Merrell Moab 2 (or could be my fifth - I’ve worn out a couple of pairs). They are my go-to walking shoes. They feel good right out of the box. I’m eyeing another color right now.
