I bought these fior hiking trip to the island of Madeira. I have wide flat feet, and these were a delight to hike in. i love the spacious toe box! Our longest day was 30km , and my feet were happy! I also have to say I grew up in the town where Vibram soles were born (North Brookfield, MA)so that's a huge plus!

Been wearing this shoe for years. Perhaps one of the best all around hiking shoes on the market. When these ones are done I'll be buying another pair!

The Moab is my go to hiker. The two new pairs were for a trip to the Canadian Rockies. They were comfy out of the box and did not require any break in time. The bottom of my feet were never sore from the rocky hikes and most confortable on all the various trails. We averaged 7-9 miles a day for a solid 12 days. I go with the fMoab because of the extra arch support. I have the low tops for the easy tralls and the high tops for those moderate and more challenging , ups and downs, the ankle support is solid.

This was my first time to purchase Merrell hiking shoes. I am so glad I did! I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect and were so comfortable. I did not need to break them in before I wore them on my hiking trip in Colorado last week. I definitely recommend these shoes.

After surgery, I required a larger and wider shoe with support. This is a great product that is all-day comfortable.

I bought the wide width Moab 2 Ventilator. This shoe is comfortable in all around. The toe bed is roomy, the arch support is adequate, and the material is sturdy, yet breathable. The heel is a little too wide for my foot, but can be mostly fixed by lacing the shoes differently. I am not in love with the insole. Merrell's old style insole was much more comfortable. I will have to replace this as soon as possible. The colors for a wide width are ok, just wish there were better options.
I'd also recommend:
Keen, Salomon

These are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever had - I don't even wear my arch supports in them while walking.

I purchased these to go hiking with my daughter. I have plantar fasciitis and need a good arch support. I am new to Merrell shoes and will be purchasing another pair today.

This is my second pair of Moab ventilator hiking shoes. They are lightweight, offer great arch and sole support and are sturdy for climbing on rough terrain. I put so many miles on my first pair and they were still in great shape, but I decided to donate them to a non-profit organization in South America. So, I purchased these. Love the fit and the variety of colors. I highly recommend these shoes.

Comfortable fit. It is a great walking/hiking shoe as it offers great support. It is a heavy shoe, so if you are looking for something lightweight, this is not it. It is a shoe that can stand rugged terrain and offers great foot support. It is a perfect shoe when I am out walking my dogs in the woods. As the weather turns to fall, I will be wearing these on cold weather days as they do keep my feet warm. I am able to wear heavier socks with these shoes, unlike most tennis shoes that I own now. I recommend these as a great walking shoe.

This is my second pair of MOABS. It supports my arch wonderfully and provides a lot of stability. The only thing that would make it better is to use the same structural elements to make a more feminine looking shoe.

My first pair of Merrells & I love ‘em! Comfy right out of the box. I have superhigh arches & these have amazing arch support. These shoes are fire y’all. Don’t even hesitate on this purchase.

I am a Merrell wearer for years...mostly purchased at my local sporting goods store, tried on...good fit, comfortable... But once I started wearing seemed to be a bit tight in the toe...eventually getting better. This time I came to the Merrell site looking for Moab 2 for women. I looked at reviews and noticed this site offers a wide width...yay! Ordered my size but wide width and problem solved!!! I just needed a little more toe room not a bigger size. Thank you Merrell, love my Moab 2s...back to order another pair!!

These are great every day shoes as well as great hikers. In hot weather they keep your feet cool, so cushy yet rugged. I love them and have been wearing this style for 4 years.

I've had many hiking shoes, but finally found a pair that fits with wool socks. Didn't need a break-in period. Very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely love this shoe! There's so much support, especially in the heel, also a bit of lift which helps my posture and footing. Merrell has definitely made a fan of me.

I just purchased my 4th pair of Moeb Ventilators. They fit as expected are stylish and comfortable. I wear a newer pair around town and reserve an older pair for the mud on the trails.

The shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I used them for hiking the first week I had them. They were comfortable. About the 4th day I had some rubbing on one little toe. I have wide feet and some shoes aren't wide enough for me but these were great. I did not feel like I needed to add an insert for better arch support. It seemed to provide enough arch support for me at least so far. Laces need to be double tied to keep them from untying.

I have been wearing the Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator for the last three years. I have not had an issue with plantar fasciitis since I started wearing these shoes. I wear them about 90% of the time. I will get new Moabs 2 every 6 months. I wear the old ones to garden in. I am a 60 year old woman

Fit great right out of the box, no breaking in via sore feet or blisters, suits my style of foot (a bit wide in the forefoot with slightly narrow heel). Very good arch support. Easy to get on and off, laces and unlaces easily. On the trail, terrain hugging sole, not a heavy feeling shoe, but well balanced.
