These light hiking shoes are snuggly out of box and grippy on any trails.

I have purchased this shoe several times because it is the only one that fits perfectly from day one! Great combination of support and comfort. I keep trying other hiking shoes but come back to this!

I've had two surgeries on my foot. Which has caused me to not walk correctly. These make me. A bit sore but very padded and comfortable. I would recommend anybody with similar foot problems to try.

These are the best hiking shoes I have ever had in my life! I bought them last week for my trip to Utah and I cannot be happier! They were comfortable from second 1. We spent the entire week hiking, and doing more than one hiking per day and I didn't have any pain or problem with my feet. In the past I used other brands (very famous ones and very expensive) and I always had problems with them. I fully recommend this brand, from now on I will not use any other brand different than Merrell! Buy them! Great choice! And not expensive at all!!!

After about 4 or 5 years of use, my old Moabs needed replacement. The soles had lost some tread through normal wear, and wet leafy paths and such were feeling a little slippery underfoot. I mostly wear these on daily hikes with my dog. I couldn't be more pleased with my new pair. They're actually a little roomier than my old wide width pair, making them more comfortable than ever! I don't have to search for thin socks any longer, now that these have plenty of room for thicker ones, a luxury I've never had. If you have a wide foot, you will love these!

I have a wide foot and usually my walking shoes are not wide enough to allow me to use my custom made orthotics, but this shoe does and it makes wearing them even better.

Just coming out of foot surgery for a fracture I was very concerned about the sizing . The size is perfect, giving me the support I need and enough room in the toe box for comfort during long hikes.

I live at 9000 feet in the mountains of Colorado. Sturdy boots are a must and I only wear Merrill hiking boots! They are my every day shoes and are rugged and comfortable. Love this style!

good shoes.. i wore for hours and really my feet didn't get tired or swollen. I think it is a very good shoe!

The treads absolutely go in the right direction to provide agility under difficult trail conditions and across wet rocks. The rounded toe is great on the downhill. The arch is well placed. My last pair from FOUR years ago is still okay, but since i used these for both work and expeditioning non-stop, they looked a little too outdoorsy for a clinic! I just repeated the order-happy you still carry them in inventory

I have always loved the Moab series and have been using them for years. They are good right out of the box to walk for miles. The material is great and the B width is perfect with plenty of toe room.

I just received my shoes great delivery time plus I was informed every step along the way. I am wearing them around the house. Very comfortable great sizing the wider width feels great on my feet. Very happy with my purchase

Have never had a pair of shoes that didn't require a little breaking in, until these! Having knee problems and these are supportive, flexible Vibram soles, and Great feeling all around. Size was spot on for me. I believe these, as so many Merrell's do, last a long time!!

I don't remember every having a pair of day hikers that felt so comfortable and supportive the first time I wore them. No break in period needed. My friend was hiking in her new Merrill day hikers but different style than mine and they were not as comfortable. She felt she had to break them in for awhile. So if you want a pair of day hikers that feel like you have been hiking in them for years the first time you put them one, then this is the pair for you. I did size up because I wear a liner and a thicker pair of socks. Has great arch support and narrow heel so my heels do not rise up when hiking. After a 5 mile hike I had no blisters and my feet felt great!

Wow these shoes are amazing they are so comfortable and they look even better. Also they are true to size.

I researched shoes for walking trails and this pair came up as one of the better brands. I purchased the shoes and initially didn't like the style too much. After wearing the pair today for walking there was a remarkable difference than the other shoes I have been using for walking. I will continue to wear this brand. The shoes really surpassed my expectations. No more sore calves.

I took these shoes on their maiden voyage on a moderate+ mountain trail hike. I was pleasantly surprised with the grip of the tread on gravel, rocks, boulders, wet rocks in a creek, paved roads and gravel roads. The toe box is wide, but I like to be able to wiggle my toes, so I like that. At first, the insole felt weird/bumpy in the wrong places while wearing around the house. Switching the insole for a flat foot and plantar fasciitis compatible insole made all the difference for me. I have a second pair coming for when this first pair wears out.

I love these shoes! Wear them all day long and my feet never get tired or bother me. No need for extra inserts either! Going to order my dad a pair to help him. Love Merrell!
