Great hiking shoe, lightweight and breathable. Bought both my husband and I a pair and he was just a pleased. This was his first pair of merrells/ hiking shoe at that, and we both agree they felt sturdy, comfortable and easy to hike in all different Arizona terrains. Very pleased with my purchase. I have a narrow foot so all merrells I have found to be a bit wide for me but nothing that causes blisters or any discomfort. Great purchase, will definitely recommend!

I love these hiking shoes so much that I bought extra pairs in case Merrell changes them in the future! They are comfortable and have a good grip even on slick red rock surfaces.

I'm thrilled I found an a replacement for my moab2 shoes that come to wear and tear several years ago. I haven't been able to find a comfortable replacement since. I'm glad merrell.com has the same shoe. I can't seem to find my size locally so I'm ordering online. Highly recommended. I do not have blisters or sore spots with this shoe and it's reasonably affordable.

I bought these because I was suffering from a torn plantar fasciitis and my doctor recommended a hiking boot for support. I chose this because it was most like a tennis shoe which I normally wear. Not only have they worked wonders for my plantar fasciitis, but they really are comfortable to wear all day. I was afraid they would be heavy and make my legs tired, but they don't. Super comfy.

This shoes are wonderful. Right now, due to the pandemic and health issues, I haven't taken them for a trip to reach their limits. However, around my little universe, they're the most comfortable walking/hiking shoes I've ever owned. I particularly am appreciative of the wide toe box and the fact that they comparatively feel very light on my feet. They are also attractive, as such shoes go, and the design does not make my feet like abnormally large.

This is my third pair of Merrell Moab Ventilator sneakers. Having had bilateral foot pain for years I thought my walking days were over. With the help of an excellent podiatrist and custom orthotic inserts, I came across the Moab sneakers in just my size a couple of years ago. The orthotics fit perfectly in the shoe. There is very good support, plenty of toe room and a firm sole, just what I needed. I am now back to daily walking, slow jogging, along with another pair to wear reserved for gardening, Just to be on the safe side, I also ordered a spare pair for down the road. So glad I found this shoe and hope Merrell continues to sell them.

Super comfy right out of the box. Hiked 7 miles with no issues. I usually wear an 8 1/2 B. Ordered an 8 1/2 wide and probably could have used an 8.

My last pair of Moab 2 Ventilator day hikers lasted at least 10 years, and I put some serious miles on them. In October 2018 I wore them on a hiking trip through central Italy. They were still serviceable but I really wanted a new pair! I just bought my new Moab 2's as a birthday present to myself. As I expected, they fit perfectly and provided all the support my joints need now that I'm in my 60s. Thank you Merrell for making these great day hikers.

I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the ankle from a severe sprain many years ago. I'm so relieved that my podiatrist gave me two thumbs up on my choice of Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator since walking and hiking are my preferred form of exercise.

I walk a lot on various terrain and am pleased with these. They have a nice supportive base and a great sturdy feel. There is no arch support with the flimsy insole so I had to replace it with a quality insert. They are somewhat stiff but break in nicely. I'm between two sizes and the smaller worked great. I often have to choose a larger size for toe room making the fit sloppy. Would like to try the waterproof version in a half size up but they are out. I hiked in the Alverstone and they had a pain emitting narrow toe box so don't recommend their cheaper line.

Everything about them seems fine. I ordered a size larger in order to fit orthotics in, and they fit well. I love the wife tie box- particularly comfortable
I'd also recommend:
I have wide feet so I like new balance too

Very comfortable right out of the box. The arch is in the right place and fits true to size. I typically wear a size 9 in Merrells, and anywhere from an 8.5-9.5 in general. I was torn on whether or not to go with the 9 or 9.5, but ultimately went with the 9 and they fit great. If I were going to only wear thicker hiking socks with these, I would've went with the 9.5, but I have other boots for that purpose. I can wear regular-med weight socks with the 9 and it is still comfortable. Traction is good and the construction feels like they can take a beating and still hold up nicely.
