Bought these shoes based of colleague's recommendation due to the physical demand of our occupation, which sometimes involves hiking long distances while carrying gear of medium to heavy weight. Hiked 6+ miles the day after I received the them, and my feet didn't hurt, sore, or blister at all. Pleasantly surprised and looking forward to put many more miles into these shoes!

Merrill is my walking shoe. I put my shoes through many miles before having to replace them. Would like a better color selection, but love my walking shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable and are the only shoes that get me through a 12 hour day on concrete.

I've worn Moab Ventilators since 2003. I love the stability and grip they provide on concrete, asphalt, gravel, grass, and a stroll through the woods.

Perfect fit right out of box no break in needed

The waterproof Moabs are the absolute best in hiking shoes. Designed for comfort and to last, the are the best in Merrell's lineup of hiking shoes. They tend to size about a half size smaller. Order up a half size and you[re feet will thank you. Merrell has thankfully left the Moabs unchanged for a while, so if you like them, you can stick with them and not worry about being disappointed with redesigned shoes. The Moabs are as good in the city as they are in the country. The sturdy soles stand up to constant use on streets and sidewalks. I prefer the waterproof models, however they can get a little uncomfortable on hot days. If you don't plan on wearing them in the rain, select the Ventilator models, which will be a lot more comfortable in warm weather.

First pair of Merrell, won't be last!

I have experienced ongoing discomfort with every show I have purchased for the past few years, and I have tried just about every brand. I need firm but flexible support. I am not a hiker and wear these for every day. They are the first footwear that I do not experience discomfort in after a few hours. They appear well made, fit as sized and I am thankful that my daughter recommended these to me

Purchased these for my husband and was so happy they was available with the wide width. They are my husbands absolute favorite shoes. Great Quality, and well worth the money!

This shoe never lets me down. It's comfortable and light weight. A very rugged product. Had many pairs over the years. My foot doctor likes the quality in the shoe.

For those looking for a solid, stabile, hiking shoe I'm really please with these. I've never enjoyed running in trail runners and big bulky hiking boots seems like zero run for me so the moab 2 was a great choice for me. The soles are stout without being excessively heavy and the fit is true.

I have been wearing the Moab Ventilator for about eight years. I need the wide width. Only once in these past years have I had to return a pair of shoes that did not fit. The shoes are durable enough to last and retain their size until I wear them out. I wear them every day for walking my dog, exercising at the gym and working around the house or in the yard. Dollar for dollar I have found them consistently to be the best choice for me.
