These are a comfortable, waterproof, and very rugged shoe. I have the mid size Merrell's and after trying some Columbia brand shoes on they don't compare to the comfort of these!

Very comfortable! First hike was 4 miles without even breaking them in. They are definitely waterproof and I can't wait to get them out again.

Love, love, love my new Moab. Comfortable with a heavy sock. Went for a walk in the woods where it was icy/snowy but I didn't slip and my feet are dry.

These were comfortable out of the box on the first hike I did. However, this week I found an even better use for them. There has been a lot of freezing rain and therefore ice everywhere. I feel like I have snow tires for my feet. And they don't feel heavy while wearing them. I brought my regular Merrell's to change into once I arrived at work but never bothered switching over.

I took my Merrell shoes to Koriyama, Japan and Sendai, Japan! While my vacations are usually spent in Yellowstone and other mountainous areas, these shoes were christened on the city streets of Japan. It was our first time back in 22 years since moving to the states after a 10-year stint in Japan. My Merrells kept my toes warm and dry and I will be forever grateful. We put about 75-100 miles on our feet over the two week visit. It was wonderful being back in our former hometown!

Very stable on uneven terrain. Excellent arch support. Ready for hikes right out of the box. Vibram sole holds up really well. Yes, they keep my feet dry in wet conditions. I have and will continue to buy these as long as they are available.

I bought the Moab 2 Waterproof so that when I go out hiking in our rainy PNW weather, my feet stay warm and dry. They do the trick, as promised, and are very comfortable. My only drawback is that they are heavier than my usual shoes, but I don't really notice it once they are on my feet.

After my first time w/Moab2 Waterproof hiking shoes I was so pleased with how well they fit and wear that I bought a 2nd pair for my wife. She's a casual hiker but after her first walk she fell in love with her Moab2's just like I did. They are terrific for easy or long hikes, wear the same every time and are extremely comfortable. And whenever we get the chance we wear them casually as well because they also look terrific!

This is my first hiking shoe purchase. From the second I put them on I was in love! Everything about these are beyond my expectations! Incredibly comfortable and supportive! Great for everyday use or out for long walks! I have even liked wearing them in our MN winter going out and about. I am a loyal for life customer after these!

This is my first pair of Merrell's. I got them for a trip to Ireland. I have been hiking in rocky, rough and wet terrain. These are amazing. My feet have stayed dry and blister free! I'm converted

Merrell shoes take the beating. Word my Moab 2's everydayeveryday for 2 1/2 years. Hiking in PA, my home state. Yellowstone Park, Jackson Hole, WY. Through parts of Idaho, too. Jersey shore, MD and DE beaches. My Moab's got around. Breaking in my 2nd pair now.

I got this particular boot to wear on trails in a local park that can be very wet and muddy. I have ankle-high Merrells that I love and wear for more strenuous hikes, but they're almost overkill for the city park. I have lightweight Merrells that are good for warmer weather, and needed something a little sturdier when it started getting cooler. They are perfect! I can stomp through standing water and slosh around the mud, and my feet are warm and dry. And, as always, these Moabs were pure comfort straight out of the box.

Fit well. Feel great. Last long, well made. Insoles are getting cheaper and not lasting as long.

Plan a half size bigger. I have had 10.5 for most of my shoes, but these came, and they I couldn't get my foot in without curling my toes. I have pair of Merrell hiking boots and they are much closer to my normal.

I bought these hiking shoes with the hope that my feet would stay warm enough to enjoy outdoor activities during the winter. They did not disappoint! I have terrible raynaud's but have been able to walk along the coast in the cold and rain in these shoes without having my feet become cold and painful. They are also extremely comfortable. I'm so happy that I purchased these shoes!

These Merrills were wonderful hiking the North Country Trail in Michigan's U.P. They fit well (true to size), held their traction, kept my feet dry, looked spectacular.

I took my Merrell's to Jackson, WY. These are actually my 4th pair of Moab 2 Waterproof shoes purchased within 2022. They are sturdy and the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Most of you won't believe this but these are the only shoes I can wear on the treadmill (at all speeds)! So I have 2 pairs in Wyoming (one for hiking/photography and one for the treadmill). Same in Indiana. I'm all set and my feet are happy!
