I have bunions and now need a wider shoe - was very hard to find in a walking/hiking style. Wore them for a week touring the Pacific NW, from the snows at Rainier and Crater Lake, to the tropical forrest's in Olympic State Park, and city walking in Seattle and Portland. They were so comfortable, and the gray doesn't show the dirt. THANK YOU MERRELL!!

Loved this shoe. I have flat, wide feet, so I ordered a half size up (10.5) to accommodate my custom orthotics and my thick hiking socks, but I should’ve stuck with my regular size (10). I’m exchanging them for my usual size and I can’t wait to get them! I love the solid nature of the sole— my horrible body doesn’t do well with flexible shoes, and this one is the perfect balance of flexible and rigid. I also obviously love that the insole is removable.

This is the only hiking shoe that gives the support I need for just walking or hiking. Bought this shoe about 2 years ago but was afraid they would be discontinued and I'd be left with all the soft squishy ones that are out there so I bought 2 more pairs as backup.

Today is the first day wearing my fourth pair of these shoes. They are so comfortable. I have knee problems with amy other shoe. I never wear any other shoe. I wear them all day at work and no pain anywhere. Love these shoes.

This is my second pair of these boots. Finally after many many miles and years of hiking pair #1 wore out. I received my 2nd pair and I wore them around the house on day one. Later that same day I didn't even realize I still had them on! Very comfortable right away. Day 2 I was back on the trail with no problems at all. I hope this boot stays in production for a very long time!

MOAB 2 Waterproof Hiker is great! Size is just perfect as always. Plenty of toe room without feeling too big, cushioned comfort so i can wear them all day without pain. great design gives more structural support. Tread is just right to keep your traction without looking overly chunky. Two years ago i had so much pain in my feet and hips that i could barely walk. Now that i am wearing Merrells (almost exclusively) i can walk again. i feel like i've been given a second chance to live. never underestimate the importance of good footwear.

My first experience with Merrell was 25 years ago when I was trying to find some hiking boots that fit when my son was in Cub scouts and I was active within the troop. I have a narrow heel and most boots seem to slip. I was at a specialty store when the salesman knew right away to have me try Merrell. I have been a loyal customer ever since.

I have wide flipper feet with no arches, so finding shoes that don't smoosh my toes is a challenge. I am so relieved that Merrell is back in the game of truly wide-enough shoes, I stopped buying them years ago when they got too narrow for me. These were one of three pairs I ordered to try out for trail walking and an upcoming overseas trip, and they were perfect from the get-go. The fit is great, they are comfortable and snug and the soles have great grip. I did find that it's easy to over-tighten the laces, though, as the top of my foot was a little numb and irritated the first time I enthusiastically laced them up, so I try to curb my enthusiasm now. Overall a great shoe. I wish they had more color options as the ones offered are kind of meh, but comfort is far more important.

What's to say. I love these shoes. Perfect fit every time, comfortable and waterproof. Can be worn with jeans, or khakis. Have multiple pairs, which last so long, that while I feel guilty about buying more, what's a girl to do.

I was looking for a wide waterproof hiking shoe to last & I think I found it. I purchased my true wide width size & in granite color (slightly darker than online but stylish). I was able to wear them immediately for a hike with no issues. Hiked recently in Sequoia while there was still snow on the ground. My feet felt steady on the slushy ice/snow. I even stood ankle deep in snow & did not feel one bit of moisture. Definitely recommend.

Could use a sqosh more room in the toe box; I have hammer toes. Regardless, shoes are feeling fine, even in 96 degree heat with my lightweight wool/nylon/lycra socks. Enjoy!

I accidentally ordered 1/2 size too small and narrow, but was able to return and order the correct pair which I received promptly. The boots were comfy right out of the box and work great whether hiking or every day wear.

These shoes are very well constructed. I have femoral patella syndrome and these shoes align my feet and legs properly so that I can walk and hike farther and with minimal knee discomfort.

I wear the shoes for up to 10 hours daily for my job as a nurse. They are extremely comfortable and supportive and my feet and legs feel good at the end of the day! They are also non slippery on slick floors which is an occupation hazard. Oh...and I also wear them hiking and they can go over rocks and cracks with no problems at all. These are the best most comfortable shoes I have owned and I will make sure to buy the same shoe when the time comes.

My feet feel great in these for walks on any surface.
They do run a half size small for me though. I usually wear 10s but needed the half size bigger for my toes. Must be the way the shoe is made. The toe box is wide enough but the tops of my toes rub in the smaller size.
