My first pair of Merrell hiking shoes. Love them! Went on two hikes over the weekend - one involved rocks & rough terrain. The shoes were great! Comfortable - true to size - good grip. No sore Feet & No sore Knees!!

Instantly comfortable great support great grip for hiking

I had never bought a Merrell hiking shoe before. The Moab waterproof is wonderful. I have a wide toe box. The wide width is perfect. There was no breaking in of this shoe. Highly recommend

Before I tell you how amazing this shoe is, let me first say I currently am dealing with an ingrown toenail (bad pedi). Also my R foot is an 8, my L is a 9, but in closed toe shoes I get a 9.5 Right out of the box I wore these shoes for 4 hours, cutting trees and dragging branches. My feet never bothered me. And even though I was wet with sweat, my feet never got uncomfortably warm. I was walking on uneven ground and rocks and broken branches but the shoes kept me comfy and steady on my feet. They're easy to walk in even though they're not flexible like a sneaker.

This is probably my 4th pair of this model of walking shoes. They have all been very comfortable and held up well overall.

I wear size 8 wide. The shoes do not bother my bunions or neuromas. They break in quickly.

When I put these on for the first time I was amazed!! They are line slipping into a broken in shoe! This is my first pair and I can tell you I will be buying more!

I've been using these shoes mostly hiking and walking local trails, i absolutely love them. Fit perfectly out of the box and I will most definitely buy another pair when I inevitably wear through these. If you're on the fence about these shoes because of sizing due to wide feet (or the price), buy them they are fantastic! You will not regret the purchase.

I love this hiking/walking shoe! I have a hard time finding a shoe that fits me that is comfortable and sturdy! This shoe is everything I've been looking for! I'm going to buy a second pair to have on hand for when these wear out! I have back and hip issues and need comfort and support! These are it!

I've been on a journey to find the right waterproof hikers for my daily walks for quite some time. Too big, too small, too heavy, others feeling like your wearing a cement bloc on your feet. But these are simply perfect right out of the box. A teeny tiny bit too small (I wear a 8.5) but not to the point that they are uncomfortable. I keep them as I am afraid that a 9 would be too big. As you have convinced me of quality and style, I'm getting the Moab 2 Vent to compliment the Moab 2 WP for our hot and mostly dry climate in during the summer months.

So far I've only been on a short hike to break them in but later this week, I'll be hiking in the rockies... I'm excited to put them to work.

Love, love, love these shoes. Lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair of Merrell hiking shoes. I won't buy anything else.

This is my first hiking shoe from Merrell. I wanted a shoe that would be perfect for shorter, urban hikes as well as longer hikes on varied trails and terrains. This shoe seems like it will do both jobs. It's not too heavy or over-constructed. The footbed is comfortable without being too cushioned. I'm happy to have them on my feet!

I had to exchange my usual size if 6.5 for a 7.0. When I received the larger size, the better fit was worth the exchange. I got these for walking the beach, and they feel great on sand or cement!!

These fit as sized and are very comfortable. Their first outing was on a 10 mile hike today and they were very supportive, no rubbing or need to break-in. I have the graphite color and they look great!

These hiking shoes were ideal for our hiking trip in the Smokies! I am not a novice hiker but did a five mile hike that day and these shoes help to grip rough terrain! I personally thought they would be heavy and were hardly noticeable. I would definitely recommended. SO glad I purchased.

Comfortable and excellent waterproof!

These shoes were great right out of the box. I have foot issues so these shoes are everything to me. I wear them every day, all day. I would buy them again and highly recommend them. I did buy the wide version of this shoe, and even though these are comfortable a touch more room would be good. I like thick socks so a touch more room would be great.

I really like this shoe, put on right out of the box, ordered normal size 8 fits great. Feels good in arch and heel. Nice looking in the grey color. Good traction. Very Happy with Merrell ... own 4 pair different styles!

Shoe fit prefect, no need to break them in. Wore them right away when doing some hiking in a few Nat'l Parks we visited recent, they were very comfortable. Would recommend.

My first pair of Merrells and it was instant love. Felt great just out of the box and walked 10,000 steps with ease on day 1. Have gone on many long walks and hikes since. No break-in period. Great products!

7th pair over the last few years. This pair ready to go right out of the box. I have only had one pair that was Gortex that squeak unreasonably in both shoes. Can't be worn in public. Only tried them on for fit and didn't get them out again for 6 months. To late for a refund or exchange. So be sure to try them out right after you receive them. Other than that this pair is perfect.
