I've been wearing Moabs for years because I find them the best fitting, best styled and longest wearing hikers of the lot. This is my first of "waterproof" replacing the GoreTex version. They are every bit as comfortable and seem every bit as good as the previous version. I like the crisper toe detailing of the toe but miss the "power lacing" feature. Overall, still best of the lot.

Shoe meets my expecations. Only small issue was the tongue of the shoe had a small "crease" which caused a little discomfort at first but has since corrected itself.

I bought these for the upcoming fall and winter season. So far they feel very warm, if not hot. I'm not sure, yet, if that's an advantage or disadvantage.

As expected from Merrell products, I have no complaints. Shoes fits as expected are are completely comfortable.

The size came in medium width but I need wide width because I wear orthotics. The shoe fits well with my old orthotics so I will continue to use those.

It's a bit smaller than my other shoes but the comfort is great. It allows a lot of air in to vent your foot. Great for general hikes and those muddy trails.

I have had an earlier pair of this hiking shoe. I loved them and they lasted well. I ordered this pair the same size, but they seem a bit smaller. Just a tad bit uncomfortable.

Lots of research and this is one of the few products of all walking shoesthat hasn't been discontinued. Great product, Great product.

Good fit snd these shoes ususlly last a long time

I love merrel shoes. The only problem was that this shoe was wide. Other than that I loved it.

These shoes are very comfortable, tough and well made. The wide fit was perfect. The only complaint is about the waterproofing, I wasn't expecting to jump in puddles but I have found the toes get soaking wet just after walking around on dewy grass.

I have a WIDE foot and this shoe fit well!

Best ankle height shoe I've ever worn.

These are a good pair of all around shoes; I wear them pretty much 24/7. The tread are ready for anything life throws at you. Fit and finish are on par with the older style. I wear a 9W and they fit as expected with good support around the ankles, where I have a past history of sprains. I have owned several pairs of MOAB's since I first tried them in 2012 and have always been happy with them. I'm not quite as happy with the new MOAB 2's though. I'm not sure if it's a change in the sole or the footbed, but it feels like I'm walking on concrete all the time, even when I'm on the trails. In response to another reviewer's comment about the shoelaces, I've always had the issue of them coming untied, I just got in the habit of double-tieing them and don't even think about it now. But this pair is no different. I normally get a good year's worth of wear and tear before I donate them after the Rugged Maniac race, and this pair so far seems to be holding up well. Other than the firmness of the shoe, I'm pretty happy with it. I just wish Merrell hadn't gone and changed it for change's sake.

This is my fourth pair of MOABs. Comfortable and rugged. I use them daily for office and home. This pair may be tight...I'll give them time to break in.
